H0267 Light Chandelier Matte Black and Natural Brass

Product Information

The product is a light fixture that requires assembly and
installation. The package includes a mounting plate unit, hardware
package, and spare parts for re-order if damaged or missing. The
fixture can be adjusted to a length of 18-1/2 to 72-1/2 inches
using the provided rods. The maximum wattage allowed is 60W per
bulb, and the fixture requires five candelabra bulbs (not
included).

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Turn off the power at the fuse or circuit box.
  2. Attach the mounting plate unit (A) to the outlet box using two
    mounting screws (B).
  3. Attach the threaded pipe to the coupling of the main fixture
    and secure it with a washer and hex nut. Adjust the length of the
    threaded pipe if necessary.
  4. Attach the tube, metal pad, and metal cap onto the coupling by
    inserting the threaded pipe and secure it with the metal ring.
  5. Thread the fixture wire through the lower rod, middle rod, and
    upper rod, and secure them onto each other using the threaded pipe.
    Use fewer rods if a shorter length is desired. Note: The length is
    adjustable from 18-1/2 to 72-1/2 inches.
  6. Thread the fixture wire through the canopy kit and secure it to
    the set threaded pipe of the canopy kit.
  7. Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the
    black wire from the power source. Connect the ribbed-coated wire
    (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire from the power
    source. Attach the fixture ground wire to the mounting plate unit
    (A) with the green ground screw, then connect it to the house
    ground wire with a wire connector (C). Carefully put the wires back
    into the outlet box.
  8. Attach the fixture to the mounting plate unit (A) and secure it
    with two bolt nuts (D).
  9. Install five candelabra bulbs (not included). See relamping
    label at socket area or packaging for maximum wattage allowed.
  10. For a vaulted or angled ceiling, angled mounting is
    recommended. Refer to Fig. 1 in the manual.
  11. Turn on the power at the fuse or circuit box.

Installation Steps
Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box
1. Attach the mounting plate unit (A) to the outlet box by using two mounting screws (B).
2. Attach the threaded pipe to the coupling of the main fixture, secure it with a washer and hex nut. Adjust the length of the threaded pipe if necessary.
3. Attach the tube, metal pad and metal cap onto the coupling by inserting the threaded pipe, and then secure with the metal ring.
4. Rod Connections: a. Thread the fixture wire from the fixture through the lower rod, then secure the lower rod onto fixture using the threaded pipe. b. Thread the fixture wire through the middle rod and then secure the middle rod onto the lower rod using the threaded pipe. c. Thread the fixture wire through the upper rod, then secure the upper rod onto the middle rod using the threaded pipe. Note: Length adjustable from 18-1/2″ to 72-1/2″. Use fewer rods if shorter length is desired.
5. Thread the fixture wire through the canopy kit, then secure the rod assembly to the set threaded pipe of the canopy kit.

6. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire connections using wire connectors (C) as follows:

—Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.

—Connect the ribbed-coated wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.

—Attach the fixture ground wire to the mounting plate unit (A) with the green ground screw, then connect it to

the house ground wire with a wire connector (C).

Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

7. Attach the fixture to the mounting plate unit (A), and then secure it with two bolt nuts (D).

8. Install 5 x 60W max. candelabra bulb (not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum wattage allowed.
9. Angled mounting recommended for a vaulted or angled ceiling. (See Fig.1)
