KW 5623 Three Tier Shallow Chandelier

Pedra Three Tier Shallow Chandelier – Item # KW 5623

This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all
applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with
the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards
involved. Inspect item and contents carefully. If any damage or
defect is found, do not install. Retain all packaging material
until installation is complete and approved.

Assembly Instructions – Option 1: Canopy Mounted Driver

Tools Required (Not Included):

  • Phillips Screwdriver
  • Slotted Screwdriver
  • Slip Joint Pliers
  • Measuring Tape
  • Wire Strippers
  • Chain Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft
    surface.
  2. Remove tall mounting plate (B) from driver housing (F) and
    canopy (G) by removing collar ring (H).
  3. Install tall mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure
    with mounting screws (D).
  4. Install driver housing (F) and canopy (G) to tall mounting
    plate (B) and secure with collar ring (H).
  5. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (I)
    needed. Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain)
  6. Feed fixture wire through threaded rod (L), tube (K), fixture
    loop (J), and alabaster shades (M).
  7. Twist all fixture wires together and slip through mounting
    plate (B). Untwist wires and separate to prepare for
    connection.
  8. Connect driver (C) output neutral wire (black) to the fixture
    neutral wire (marked -) using wire nut (A).
  9. Connect driver (C) output hot wire (red) to the fixture hot
    wire (marked +) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot
    and neutral connections.
  10. Wrap supply ground wire (green) around the green grounding
    screw. Tighten. NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is
    grounded.
  11. Connect driver (C) neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral
    wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).
  12. Connect driver (C) hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire
    (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot
    and neutral connections.
  13. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck
    into the junction box.
  14. Insert driver (C) into mounting plate (B) bracket.
  15. Install driver housing (F), canopy (G) to mounting plate (B)
    and secure with collar ring (H).
  16. Thread alabaster shades (M) to fixture (N).

Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry
cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical
agents.

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Remove tall mounting plate (B) from driver housing (F) and canopy (G)
by removing collar ring (H). 3. Install tall mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with
mounting screws (D). 4. Install driver housing (F) and canopy (G) to tall mounting plate (B) and
secure with collar ring (H). 5. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (I) needed.
Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain) 6. Feed fixture wire through threaded rod (L), tube (K), fixture loop (J),
then install threaded rod (L) & tube (K) to fixture (N) and secure using fixture loop (J). 7. Attach chain (I) to collar loop and to fixture loop (J) using quick links (E). Secure quick links (E). 8. Thread fixture wire through chain (I). NOTE: When you reach tall mounting plate (B), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. 9. Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″. 10. Loosen collar ring (H) and let driver housing (F) and canopy (G) slip down chain (I) carefully.

11. Twist all fixture wires together and slip through mounting plate (B). NOTE: Untwist wires and separate to prepare for connection.
12. Connect driver (C) output neutral wire (black) to the fixture neutral wire (marked “-“) using wire nut (A).
13. Connect driver (C) output hot wire (red) to the fixture hot wire (marked “+”) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
14. Wrap supply ground wire (green) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.

knockouts in the junction box. 3. Remove tall mounting plate (B) from driver housing (F) and canopy (G)
by removing collar ring (H). NOTE: Driver housing (F) will be not be used for ceiling mounted assembly. Keep part and store for future use. 4. Install short mounting plate (O) to the junction box and secure with mounting screws (D). 5. Secure collar loop (P) to short mounting plate (O) using pliers to tighten locknut. 6. Install canopy (G) to short mounting plate (O) and secure with collar ring (H). 7. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (I) needed. Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain) 8. Feed fixture wire through threaded rod (L), tube (K), fixture loop (J), then install threaded rod (L) & tube (K) to fixture (N) and secure using fixture loop (J). 9. Attach chain (I) to collar loop (P) and fixture loop (J) using quick links (E). Secure quick links (E).

10. Thread fixture wire and ground wire through chain (I). NOTE: When you reach mounting plate (O), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box.
