The fixture is compatible with CFL or LED bulbs as well. The
fixture has a maximum wattage rating that should not be exceeded.
The product requires electrical wiring for installation and comes
with a support cable to aid in the installation process.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before
    beginning installation.
  2. If necessary, remove the existing fixture and its mounting
    hardware from the ceiling.
  3. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all
parts are included as shown in the illustration.
  4. Connect cable and fixture body together by threading nuts (I)
at the end of cable into all thread (J) on fixture body. Adjust
cable length by pushing wire strainer to keep fixture level.
  5. Thread screws (A) into the pre-drilled holes of the circular
strap (B) spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the canopy
    (D) of the fixture body. The length of screws (A) may be adjusted
    if necessary.
  6. Attach circular strap (B) to the outlet box using the two
mounting screws (C). The side of the circular strap (B) marked GND
    must face out.
  7. Determine the desired hanging height by pushing or pulling the
cord through the center of metal bushing (E). Secure the cord by
tightening metal screw (F) into the metal bushing (E). Cut excess
wire leaving about 6 inches of cord for electrical
    connections.
  8. Carefully cut and remove approximately 4 inches of the outer
sheathing from the cord and strip 1/2 inch of the wire ends bare to
    expose the copper strands.
  9. Align the fixture to circular strap (B) and attach hook (L) on
the end of support cable (H) into a slot located on circular strap
(B). Carefully allow the support cable (H) to support the weight of
    the fixture while wiring.
  10. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure
that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet has a ground
wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to
it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the
circular strap (B) using the green screw provided.
  11. Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the outlet box.
  12. Raise canopy (D) over mounting screws (A) and secure with
    finials (G).
  13. Install three medium base bulbs (K) up to 60 watts each or CFL
or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture
specification — DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
  14. After completing the installation, return power to the outlet
    box and test the fixture.
