IKF 2442 Palati Large Tall Sconce

Product Information:

The Palati Large Tall Sconce is a light fixture designed for
installation in accordance with local installation codes. It should
be installed by a person familiar with its construction and
operation, as well as the associated hazards. The item is labeled
as Item # IKF 2442.

Notice:

Before installation, carefully inspect the item and its
contents. If any damage or defect is found, do not install the
fixture. Retain all packaging material until installation is
complete and approved.

Tools Required (Not Included):

• Phillips Screwdriver
• Hammer
• Slotted Screwdriver
• Drill
• Pencil

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
   clean, soft surface.
2. Remove the mounting plate (B) from the fixture by unscrewing
   the set screws (E) using the provided screwdriver (I).
3. Align the mounting plate (B) with the junction box and mark the
   anchor positions using it as a guide.
4. Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchors, drill
   holes in the marked positions.
5. Install the anchors (A) into the holes using a hammer.
6. Attach the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using
   mounting screws (F), then secure it further with wood screws (C) to
   the anchors (A).
7. Connect the supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper)
   around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1) and tighten it.
   Note: The fixture must be properly grounded.
8. Connect the fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral
   wire (usually white) using a wire nut (D).
9. Connect the fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire
   (usually black) using a wire nut (D). Caution: Ensure that the hot
   and neutral connections are not reversed.
10. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck
    them into the junction box.
11. Install the fixture to the mounting plate (B) and secure it
    with set screws (E) using the provided screwdriver (I).
12. Align the holes on the shade with screws (G), then hang the
    shade (H) onto the fixture.

Care Instructions:

To clean the fixture, use only a soft dry cloth or feather
duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.

mounting screws (F), then secure wood screws (C) to anchors (A). 6. Connect supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) around the
green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. 7. Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (D). 8. Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (D). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. 9. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
