DG36 Vertical Ground Bar Kits
Product Information
The Vertical Ground Bar Kits are designed to provide a common
and accessible grounding point for all electronics mounted on an
equipment rack or in a cabinet. This kit includes a C-Type
Compression Tap DG72 Style Rack Ground Bar and a DGJ Style Ground
Jumper.

Product Usage Instructions
- Locate the mounting area on the equipment rack where you want
to install the grounding busbar. - If there is any paint, oxidation, or other coatings on the
mounting area(s), remove them. - If insulators are being used, skip steps 2 and 3.
- Apply zinc-based antioxidant to the bare metal mounting areas
to ensure proper conductivity. - Using appropriate hardware, mount the rack grounding busbar
securely to the equipment rack. - Bond the rack grounding busbar to the Telecommunications
Equipment Bonding Conductor (TEBC). - If insulators are being used, make a separate bonding
connection from the equipment rack to the TEBC.
Note: It is important to follow these instructions carefully to
ensure proper grounding and safety of the electronics mounted on
the equipment rack or in the cabinet.

Instructions
1. Locate mounting area on the equipment rack for the grounding busbar. 2. Remove all paint, oxidation, etc. from the mounting area(s). If insulators are being used, skip steps 2 and 3. 3. Apply zinc-based antioxidant to the bare metal mounting areas. 4. Mount rack grounding busbar to equipment rack using appropriate hardware. 5. Bond rack grounding busbar to Telecommunications Equipment Bonding Conductor (TEBC). If insulators
are being used, a separate bonding connection must be made from the equipment rack to the TEBC.
