52518BNB Pallas 12-Light Chandelier

Product Information

This product is a lighting fixture that includes stems, short
threaded tubes, center body, canopy, swivel, mounting strap,
coupling, mounting screws, lock washer, knob, shade, and socket. It
is designed to be installed on an outlet box and wired according to
the provided instructions.

Product Usage Instructions

Rotate the upper fixture arms up 180 degrees into place.
Screw the center body onto the coupling.
Pass fixture wires from the center body through the desired
number of short threaded tubes and stems. Screw stems together
using short threaded tubes. Apply thread locking compound to all
stem threads to prevent accidental rotation of the fixture during
cleaning or re-lamping.
Screw the first stem into the top of the center body.
Pass fixture wires from the last stem through the swivel and
into the canopy.
Screw the lower end of the swivel into the end of the last
stem, applying thread locker where noted. Take note of the
direction of the swivel in accordance with the ceiling.
Cut fixture wires a minimum of 20 inches from the top edge of
the canopy.
Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap that
align with hole distance in the canopy. Screw mounting screws into
threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
Attach mounting strap to outlet box using the strap mounting
screws. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of
the fixture.
If provided with a ground wire, follow grounding instructions
as illustrated in either a or b. Never connect ground wire to black
or white power supply wires.
Make wire connections according to the provided chart for
correct connections and wire accordingly.
Raise the canopy to the ceiling, carefully passing mounting
screws through mounting screw holes in the canopy. Be sure wires do
not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy or canopy and
ceiling.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rotate upper fixture arms up 180 degrees into position as shown.
2. Screw center body[C] onto coupling[H].
3. Pass fixture wires from center body through desired number of short threaded tubes[B] and stems[A]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with symbol () to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, re-lamping, etc.
4. Screw first stem into top of center body.
5. Pass fixture wires from last stem through swivel[M] and into canopy[D].
6. Screw lower end of swivel into end of last stem, applying thread locker where noted with symbol (). Take note of direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
7. Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 20 inches from the top edge of canopy.
8. Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap[G] that align with hole distance in canopy[D]. Screw mounting screws[I] into threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
9. Attach mounting strap to outlet box[F] using the strap mounting screws[E]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
10. Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
a. On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

CLEANING: · Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning. · Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.

11. Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

12. Raise canopy to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[I] through mounting screw holes in canopy.
NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy or canopy and ceiling.
13. While holding canopy in place, use lock washers[J] and then knobs[K] to secure canopy. Tighten to secure.
14. Carefully lower shade[L] down over socket[N] until seated. Repeat for remaining sockets.
15. Insert recommended bulbs (Not supplied).

TOURNER LES BRAS SUPÉRIEURS DU LUMINAIRE À 180°

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION

1. Tournez les bras supérieurs du luminaire à 180 pour le placer en position (voir illustration).
2. Vissez l’ensemble central[C] sur l’accouplement[H].
3. Acheminez les fils du luminaire depuis l’ensemble central en les passant par le nombre souhaité de tubes filetés courts[B] et de tiges[A]. Vissez les tiges ensemble à l’aide de tubes filetés courts.
REMARQUE : Appliquer le frein filet sur tous les filets de la tige indiqués par le symbole () pour empêcher la rotation accidentelle du luminaire pendant le nettoyage, remplacement des ampoules, etc.
4. Vissez la première tige en haut de l’ensemble central.
5. Acheminez les fils du luminaire depuis la dernière tige par le pivot[M] et dans le cache[D].
6. Vissez l’embout inférieur du pivot dans l’extrémité de la dernière tige en appliquant un composé pour frein-filet aux emplacements signalés par le symbole (). Prenez note de l’orientation du pivot en fonction du plafond.
7. Coupez les fils du luminaire à 50 cm MINIMUM du bord supérieur du cache.
8. Localisez les trous taraudés appropriés sur l’étrier de montage[G], qui s’alignent sur la distance de trou dans le cache[D]. Serrez les vis de montage[I] dans les trous taraudés en commençant par la boîte de sortie.
9. Fixez l’étrier de montage sur la boîte de sortie[F] avec les vis de montage de l’étrier[E]. Vous pouvez régler l’étrier de montage en fonction de la position du luminaire.
10. Connecter les fils. Se reporter au tableau ci-dessous pour faire les connexions.

11. Soulevez le luminaire en direction du plafond en passant soigneusement les vis de montage[I] par les trous des vis de montage dans le cache.
REMARQUE : S’assurer que les fils ne se coincent pas entre l’étrier de montage et le cache ou le cache et le plafond.
12. Tout en maintenant le cache, utilisez des rondelles de blocage[J] puis des boutons[K] pour fixer le cache. Serrez pour fixer.
13. Abaissez soigneusement le cache[L] sur la douille[N] jusqu’à ce qu’il soit bien logé. Répétez l’opération pour les autres douilles.
14. Installez les ampoules recommandées (non fournies).

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
1. Gire los brazos superiores del artefacto 180 grados hasta la posición indicada.
2. Enrosque el cuerpo central[C] en el acoplamiento[H].
3. Pase los cables del artefacto desde el cuerpo central a través del número deseado de tubos roscados cortos[B] y vástagos[A]. Enrosque los vástagos entre sí utilizando los tubos roscados cortos.
NOTA: Se debe aplicar compuesto de bloqueo de roscas a las roscas de vástago según lo indicado con el símbolo () para evitar la rotación accidental del artefacto durante la limpieza, el reemplazo de los focos, etc.
4. Enrosque el primer vástago en la parte superior del cuerpo central.
5. Pase los cables del artefacto desde el último vástago a través de la unión giratoria[M] y hacia la cubierta[D].
6. Enrosque el extremo inferior de la unión giratoria en el extremo del último vástago, aplicando bloqueador de roscas donde se indica con el símbolo (). Tome nota de la dirección de la unión giratoria de acuerdo con el techo.
7. Corte los cables del artefacto a un MÍNIMO de 20 pulgadas del borde superior de la cubierta.
8. Encuentre los orificios roscados apropiados en la abrazadera de montaje[G] que se alinean con la distancia de los orificios en la cubierta[D]. Enrosque los tornillos de montaje[I] en los orificios roscados empezando por el lado de la caja de salida.
9. Fije la abrazadera de montaje a la caja de salida[F] utilizando los tornillos de montaje de la abrazadera[E]. La abrazadera de montaje puede ajustarse a la posición del artefacto.
10. Instrucciones de conexión a tierra solamente para los Estados Unidos. (Vea la ilustracion a o b).
a. En las lámparas que tienen la abrazadera de montaje con un agujero y dos hoyuelos realzados, enrollar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida alrededor del tornillo verde y pasarlo por el aquiero.
b. En las lámparas con una arandela acopada, fijar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida del ajo de la arandela acoada y tornillo verde, y paser por a abrazadera de montaje.
Si la lámpara viene con alambre a tierra, conecter el alambre a tierra de la lámpara al alambre a tierra de la caja de salida con un conector de alambres espués de seguir los pasos anteriores. Nunca conectar el alambra a tierra a los alambres eléctros negro o blanco.

12. Levante la cubierta hasta el techo, pasando cuidadosamente los tornillos de montaje[I] a través de los orificios de los tornillos de montaje en la cubierta.
NOTA: Asegúrese de que los cables no queden apretados entre la abrazadera de montaje y la cubierta o la cubierta y el techo.
13. Mientras sostiene la cubierta en su lugar, utilice las arandelas de seguridad[J] y luego las perillas[K] para asegurar la cubierta. Apriete para asegurar.
14. Baje con cuidado la pantalla[L] sobre el portalámparas[N] hasta que quede asentada. Repita la operación con el resto de los portalámparas.
15. Inserte los focos recomendados (no suministrados).
