KG-KC-KH Landmark and Raider Rooftop Units
Product Information: Commercial Training Toolbox Tips
The Commercial Training Toolbox Tips is a resource for Lennox
Landmark and Raider Rooftop Units that have a factory or
field-installed economizer with a Honeywell W7220 controller. An
economizer uses a combination of sensible and enthalpy sensors to
determine when outside air is suitable for free cooling. The type
and number of sensors depends on the controller.
Honeywell Jade W7220 Economizer Controller Sensors
The Honeywell Jade W7220 Economizer Controller Sensors are used
for KG/KC/KH and ZG/ZC/ZH Units with a Honeywell W7220 Economizer
Controller. The sensors include:
- Enthalpy Return Air Sensor (11G21): Measures return air
enthalpy for dual enthalpy (differential enthalpy) functions.
Compares with Outside Air enthalpy sensor for control. - Sensible Return Air Sensor (11G26): Measures return air
temperature for differential sensible control. Measures outside air
enthalpy for dual enthalpy (differential enthalpy) functions. In
single enthalpy applications, it compares the enthalpy to the ES
Curve Setting to enable free cooling. Enables free cooling
operation when conditions are favorable. - Sensible Outside Air Sensor (11G26): Measures outside air
temperature for single and differential sensible control. - Sensible Discharge Air Sensor (11G26): Measures discharge air
after the cooling coil.

Product Usage Instructions
To use the Commercial Training Toolbox Tips, follow the below
instructions:
- Ensure that your Lennox Landmark or Raider Rooftop Unit has a
factory or field-installed economizer with a Honeywell W7220
controller. - Refer to the Honeywell Jade W7220 Economizer Controller Sensors
section to understand the type and number of sensors required for
your unit. - Use the sensors to determine when outside air is suitable for
free cooling and enable free cooling operation when conditions are
favorable. The specific instructions for using the sensors will
depend on the type of sensor and the controller being used. - If you require additional assistance, visit
LennoxCommercial.com or LennoxPros.com for installation and service
literature or access self-service technical support through the
apps on the Lennox Commercial YouTube Channel and Technical
Training Webinars.
