The Optimus Electric Steering system is a high-performance
steering system designed specifically for BASS boats. It eliminates
all hydraulic components from the installation, providing immediate
response and control. The system is compatible with Mercury,
Yamaha, and Suzuki engines and offers reduced maintenance as it
does not require any hydraulic parts. With the Optimus Electric
Steering system, you can give your BASS boat a new life by
experiencing fast steering response, high precision control, and
improved safety.

The electric actuator steering parameters are pre-set to ensure
the highest performance steering. The system consists of an
electric actuator and electronic helm that work together to provide
a comfortable and controlled steering experience while you enjoy

Dometic has developed a version of the electric actuator with input from BASS boat builders to provide the fast steering response, high precision control and safety required to get to your fishing hole as quickly as possible. The fatigue you may get from the traditional hydraulic steering is now gone with Optimus Electric Steering.

The electric actuator steering parameters have been already set to give the highest performance steering. The electric actuator and electronic helm work together to provide the feel of control and comfort experienced when your on the water doing your favorite activity, fishing.
