Product Information
The P5403-718-L is an LED pendant light fixture that comes with
a canopy, mounting plate, ground screw, mounting screws, glass
shade, acrylic diffuser, gold decorative piece, and finial. The
fixture is dimmable with ELV and/or LED compatible wall dimmer
switches. The installation of the fixture should be done by a
qualified electrician to ensure proper wiring and installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, make sure to shut off
the power at the fuse or circuit breaker. - Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box using the two
mounting screws provided. - Connect the ground wire of the mounting plate to the grounding
system of the electrical service. - Attach the canopy (F) over the mounting plate (A) using screws
(G). - Unscrew finial (J) from the lamp body (L).
- Slide the glass shade (E), acrylic diffuser (H), and gold
decorative piece (I) onto the lamp body (L). - Secure the glass shade, acrylic diffuser, and gold decorative
piece by screwing on the finial (J). - Remove the protective film from the bottom of the canopy
(F). - Turn on the power at the junction box and test the
fixture.
When handling the fixture, be careful not to apply pressure to
the LEDs. Hold the fixture by the frame only.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1) 1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. Remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware. 2. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as show in Figure 1. 3. Unscrew screws (G) to remove mounting plate (A) from canopy (F). Mark location of the four mounting holes for plastic anchors (B). Drill the appropriate size holes on the ceiling and insert the plastic anchors (B). Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) using the mounting screws (C). The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. Place woodscrews (M) through the holes into the plastic anchors (B) to secure the mounting plate (A) to the ceiling as shown in Fig.1 4. The length of the power cord can be adjusted by loosening the set screw (S), then tighten the set screw (S). 5. The support cable is provided to support the weight of the fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting plate (A) and attach hook (N) on the end of support cable (O) into a slot located on mounting plate (A). Carefully allow the support cable (O) to support the weight of the fixture while wiring (Fig.1). CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) 6. Connect the electrical wire as show in Fig 2. Making sure that all the connectors are secured. lf your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the ground wire from the fixture to it. Otherwise connect fixture ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw (D) provided. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction box.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1) 7. Slide canopy (F) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (G). 8. Unscrew finial (J). Slide glass shade (E), acrylic diffuser (H), and gold decorative piece (I) to the lamp body (L) and secure with finial (J). 9. Finally, tear off the protective film at the bottom of canopy (F).

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture. CAUTION/ATTENTION: When handling the fixture, do not apply pressure to the LEDs. Hold the fixture by the frame only. IMPORTANT: Fixtures should be installed by a qualified electrician to ensure proper wiring and installation. Dimmable with ELV and/or LED compatible wall dimmer switches.
