essential to use the product correctly and with care for its
intended purpose to prevent damage, personal injury, and to
maintain the warranty. Keep these instructions safe for future
reference.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Safety

1.1 Electrical Safety

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure electrical safety by
following these guidelines:

  • Inspect all electrical equipment and appliances for safety
    before use.
  • Check power supply leads, plugs, and connections for wear or
    damage.
  • Sealey recommends using a Residual Current Device (RCD) with
    all electrical products.
  • If using the product for business purposes, maintain it in a
    safe condition and routinely perform Portable Appliance Testing
    (PAT).
  • Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, ensure the
    insulation on all cables and the appliance is safe.
  • Regularly inspect power supply cables, plugs, and connections
    for wear or damage.
  • Ensure the voltage rating on the appliance matches the power
    supply and the plug has the correct fuse rating.
  • Avoid pulling or carrying the appliance by its power
    cable.
  • Avoid pulling the plug from the socket by the cable.
  • Do not use worn or damaged cables, plugs, or connectors. Repair
    or replace any faulty items immediately with the help of a
    qualified electrician.
  • This product is fitted with a BS1363 3 pin plug.
  • If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch off the
    electricity supply and discontinue use. Seek repairs from a
    qualified electrician.
  • Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363 3 pin plug. If unsure,
    consult a qualified electrician.
  • When connecting the appliance, follow these guidelines:
    • Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the earth terminal
      `E’.
    • Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal `L’.
    • Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal `N’.
    • Ensure the cable’s outer sheath extends inside the cable
      restraint and is tight. Sealey recommends repairs by a qualified
      electrician.
  • Replacement fuse rating: 3A

1.2 General Safety

Follow these general safety instructions when using the
ventilator:

  • Disconnect the ventilator from the mains power when not in use
    or before servicing/maintenance.
  • Use the fan in dry areas only and avoid wet or high
    condensation locations like bathrooms, showers, or pools.
  • If the ventilator falls into water, immediately switch off and
    disconnect from the mains power supply. Do not touch the ventilator
    until disconnected.
  • Always disconnect the ventilator from the power supply when
    moving it between locations.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:

Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and all

electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all electrical

products.

If the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable Appliance

Test) tested.

Electrical safety information: it is important that the following information is read and understood.

Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.

Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.

Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is fitted with the correct

fuse – see fuse rating in these instructions.

DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.

DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.

DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or

replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.

This product is fitted with a BS1363 3 pin plug.

If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch the electricity supply and remove from use.

Ensure that repairs are carried out by a qualified electrician.

Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician.

A) Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the earth terminal `E’.

B) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal `L’.

C) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal `N’. Ensure that the cable outer sheath extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight. Sealey recommend that repairs are carried out by a qualified electrician.

Replacement fuse rating: 3A

GENERAL SAFETY

Disconnect the ventilator from the mains power when not in use, and before servicing or performing any maintenance.

Use the fan in dry areas only. Do not use in wet or high condensation locations such as bathrooms, showers, or pools.

WARNING! If a ventilator falls into water, immediately switch off at the mains and disconnect from the mains power supply.

DO NOT touch the ventilator until the mains power supply has been disconnected.

Always disconnect the ventilator from the power supply when moving it from one location to another.

Keep the ventilator clean and maintain in good condition (use an authorised service agent).

Use recommended parts only (unauthorised parts may be dangerous, and will invalidate your warranty).

DO NOT stand the ventilator where it may be knocked over or off a surface, or where the lead may cause a trip hazard.

DO NOT use an extension cord unless it has been approved by an electrical authority.

DO NOT insert any objects through the fan guard.

DO NOT allow children to operate the ventilator.

DO NOT immerse the ventilator in water or any other liquid.

DO NOT use the ventilator outdoors.

DO NOT cover the ventilator.

When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof location.

2. INTRODUCTION

Ideal for use where high-volume clean air delivery is required. Especially designed to easily ventilate hot or fume laden work areas, creating a cleaner and more pleasant working environment. Supplied with 5m ducting (VEN200AK1). Optional 10m ducting (VEN200AK2) available, but not supplied. The air mover/ventilator can be used across multiple industries including, but not exclusive to; marine, roof spaces and building sites, cable/pipe ducts and workshops. Light weight in construction with large carry handle makes it easily portable. Fitted with 2m cable and 3-pin plug. Ducting supplied is compatible with other leading manufacturers products with Ø200mm.

4. OPERATION

4.1.

Decide on the direction of air flow, depending on your requirement (ventilate or extract). See fig 1 for direction of air flow.

4.2.

Ducting can be attached to either end of the ventilator depending on whether you wish to remove/extract fumes or deliver

fresh air into a work space.

4.3.

To change direction of air flow rotate the unit 180° as the air flow is a fixed direction.

4.4.

Secure ducting by pulling the string tight then move the toggle switch to start the unit; select a low or high fan speed as required.

NOTE: The ducting has locating lugs attached to it; these can be used to suspend the ducting if required.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
