NDZGG50V16 Mersen Electrical Power Fuses Surge

Product Information

The D fuse-links gG are low voltage IEC fuses used for the
protection of cables and power lines. They are part of the first
generation of screw fuse-system in the German DIN standard. The D
fuse range includes the sizes NDZ, DII, DIII, DIV, DV. These
fuse-links limit and cut-off unacceptable overcurrents and short
circuit currents up to their nominal breaking capacity. They also
protect equipment and installations against dynamic effects of high
short circuit currents.

The technical data overview for the D fuse-links gG is as

Product Usage Instructions

The D fuse-links gG are designed for use in low voltage
distribution units where non-trained persons are allowed to change
the fuse-links. Follow the steps below to use the product:

  1. Identify the appropriate size of the D fuse-link (NDZ, DII,
    DIII, DIV, DV) based on your application requirements.
  2. Ensure that the voltage range (AC or DC) and ampere range of
    the fuse-link matches your system’s specifications.
  3. Select the desired color of the fuse-link based on your
    preference or coding system.
  4. Refer to the catalog number and item number for the specific
    product variant you need.
  5. Install the D fuse-link into the corresponding fuse-holder in
    your low voltage distribution unit.
  6. Make sure the fuse-link is securely connected and properly
    aligned.
  7. If a fuse-link needs to be replaced, follow the same steps to
    remove the old one and install a new D fuse-link.

DIN LV FUSE-LINKS D

The D fuse-system is the first generation of screw fuse-system in the german DIN standard. It is still used in many installations. Applications are low voltage ditribution units, where non trained persons are allowed to change the fuse-links. The D fuse range comprises the sizes NDZ, DII, DIII, DIV, DV.
The range of applications for D fuse-links is the protection of cables and power lines. They limit and cut-off unacceptable overcurrents and short circuit currents up to their nominal breaking capacity. D fuse-links “gG” also protect equipments and installations against dynamic effects of high short circuit currents.
