HAY-1409-PN Hayes 32 Light Chandelier

Product Information:

This product is a lighting fixture with model number
HAY-1409-PN. It has been in the market for sixty years, providing
reliable lighting solutions. The fixture comes with a safety cable
due to its weight, which is over 50lbs. It should be mounted to the
ceiling independently of the outlet box. The fixture is dry rated,
meaning it is suitable for indoor use in dry locations.

The installation of electrical components should be done by a

The fixture requires 32-Candelabra Base Bulbs with a recommended
wattage of 25 Watts and a maximum wattage of 25 Watts. It is
recommended to use LED bulbs for extended use.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Before starting the installation process, make sure the power
   is turned off to avoid electrical danger.
2. Follow the steps below to install the fixture:
   1. Screw the threaded pipe into the coupler and slide the metal
      tube over the threaded pipe.
   2. Slide the check ring over the top of the metal tube and secure
      it with the fixture loop.
   3. Attach the fixture into the outlet box using the provided
      safety cable.
   4. Install bulbs (not included) into the fixture.
   5. Connect the power.
3. When dressing the fixture, start with the crystal labeled (A)
   and apply the crystal sets in alphabetical order.
4. For the installation of the safety cable, follow these
   steps:
   1. Pass the long threaded pipe on the hickey through the center of
      the outlet box. Attach it to the ceiling joist and secure it with
      nuts.
   2. Feed the wires and safety cable up through the chain and the
      hole of the screw collar loop. Have the wires and safety cable exit
      through the side of the hickey.
   3. Feed the safety cable through the cable lock and coil it around
      the hickey twice. Then feed the cable through the lock again and
      tighten it with a lock screw.
   4. Continue to run the safety cable through the top of the outlet
      box and secure it to the ceiling joist.

How to Install

Installation of Safety Cable
