WARNING: It is recommended that a qualified technician perform the replacement of the rechargeable battery pack in this light.
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may impair the intrinsic safety of this flashlight.
WARNING: To prevent the ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open the lens bezel in the hazardous environment. This task must only be performed in an area known to be non-hazardous.
WARNING: When exchanging the rechargeable battery pack, use only the approved 5522-BATT rechargeable battery pack from basic products.

Loosen the locking screw on the side of the bezel. CAUTION: Do NOT remove the locking screw.
Unscrew the lens bezel from the housing in a counter-clockwise direction.
Loosen each of the two charger contact pins located below the Floodlight Lens. These two screws should be loosened until approximately 1/8” of thread is visible.
CAUTION: Do NOT remove these two screws.
Turn the light upside down and remove the reflector/circuit assembly. CAUTION: Do NOT touch the reflector surface with your finger. Doing so may damage the reflector surface.
Remove the old 5522-BATT rechargeable battery pack paying attention to the battery pack’s orientation within the handle. Please recycle the used battery.
Using only the approved replacement 5522-BATT rechargeable battery pack from Bayco Products, slide the new battery pack into the handle of the light using the directional arrow marked on the side of the pack as a guide for proper orientation.
Align the reflector/circuit assembly so that the switches on the assembly are aligned with the switches on the housing. Fully insert the assembly back into the flashlight housing.
Tighten both of the charger contact screws fully.
Replace the lens bezel onto the housing in a clockwise direction until tight.
Tighten the locking screw located on the side of the lens bezel. CAUTION: Do NOT over-tighten. Doing so may damage the threads.
