If you are experiencing No/Low Steam, follow these steps to resolve:
- Unplug the machine
- Test Trigger
- Does the trigger make a clicking sound when pressed?
- No > Contact Us
- Yes > Fill tank with room temperature water
- Does the trigger make a clicking sound when pressed?
- Remove water filter
- Filter is located below the water tank on the back
- The hose tube can be removed for easier access
- Pull from bottom (sideways) & swing outward to remove
- Does filter have beads?
- No > Go to No Steam in Foot
- Yes > Inspect filter & rubber gasket > If cracked or damaged, a replacement should be ordred > Go to Parts & Supplies
- Check color of beads in filter
- Green/White = Normal
- Blue/Black/Tan = Needs to be replaced > Go to Parts & Supplies
- Red/Brown/White = dehydrated beads
- If filter has beads, soak the filter in cold water for 10-15 minutes to rehydrate
- Return filter to machine
- Push the filter into place until flush with machine
- There should be no gaps
- Reinstall hose tube
- Align the tabs on the clear tube with the notches on the machine
- Swing tube down to align with lower tube
- Secure into opening
- Push firmly into place
- Plug machine in, test for steam
- Is there steam?
- Yes > Great! Glad we could get you back to cleaning!
- No > Go to No Steam in the Foot
