The SYA1718BN, SYA1718MBK, SYA2818BN, and SYA2818MBK are convertible fixtures that can be mounted as pendant lights or semi-flush lights. The package contents include 12L rods x2, ceiling canopy x1, 6L rod C x2, fixture body x1, crossbar assembly AA x1, wire connector BB x3, outlet box screw CC x2, and mounting hardware. The recommended bulb type for installation is medium (E26) type A with a maximum wattage of 100W. - Turn off electricity to fixture before replacing the bulb(s).

Install Rods
Optional Rods:
- 8 Feet Ceiling: (2) 12″L Rods.
- 9 Feet Ceiling: (2) 6″L Rods + (2) 12″L Rods.
Tighten hex nut inside of the Ceiling Canopy
Install Ceiling Canopy to Upper Rod
Install Crossbar Assembly
Wiring
Install Ceiling Canopy to Crossbar Assembly
Install Bulbs
Install three correct bulbs referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage. Recommended Bulb type (not included):
Your installation is now complete! Restore electricity and save this sheet for future reference.
IMPORTANT: This CONVERTIBLE fixture can be mounted as pendant light or semi-flush light. DO NOT CUT SUPPLY WIRES if you intend to
use it as pendant light.
OPTION 2: SEMI-FLUSH – SYA1718BN, SYA1718MBK
- Set aside (2) 6″L Rods and (2) 12″L Rods,swivel since they are not required for the semi-flush installation.
- Remove Swivel
- Install Ceiling Canopy
- Install Crossbar Assembly
- Wiring
- Install Ceiling Canopy to Crossbar Assembly
- Install Bulbs
Install three correct bulbs referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage.
Recommended Bulb type (not included):
