RL1493 Large Floor Lamp
Product Information
The Riley Large Floor Lamp (Item # RL 1493) is a light fixture
that provides illumination for large spaces. It is designed to be
installed in accordance with local installation codes and should be
handled by someone familiar with its construction and operation.
The lamp comes with all necessary parts and packaging materials for
safe installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting, make sure you have scissors available as a
tool. - Remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft
surface. - Start by installing the lamp body (F) onto the base (L). Secure
it using the provided lock washer (G) and hex nut (H) with the
provided wrench (I). - Peel off the backing sheet from the felt paper (J) and neatly
apply it to the bottom side of the lamp base. - Attach the harp (C) onto the saddle (E) and adjust it to the
desired height. Tighten the adjustment knobs (D) to secure the harp
in place. - Remove the finial (A) from the harp (C).
- Take the shade (B) out of its packaging and attach it to the
harp (C) using the finial (A). If there is additional packaging
inside the shade, carefully cut it off to avoid damaging the
shade. - Place the diffuser (M) on top of the shade (B).
- Install a light bulb into the socket.
- Remove the protective cover (K) from the plug.
- Plug the lamp into an electrical outlet and test the
fixture.
Care Instructions
To keep the Riley Large Floor Lamp in good condition, clean it
only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid using abrasive
or chemical agents, as they may damage the lamp.

NOTICE: This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.
TOOLS REQUIRED (NOT INCLUDED): Scissors
1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Install lamp body (F) to base (L), then secure with lock washer (G)
and hex nut (H) using provided wrench (I). 3. Remove backing sheet from felt paper (J), then neatly apply to bottom
side of lamp base. 4. Install harp (C) onto saddle (E), adjust to desired height, then tighten
adjustment knobs (D). 5. Remove finial (A) from harp (C). 6. Remove shade (B) from packaging and attach to harp (C) using
finial (A). NOTE: If shade has additional packaging, carefully cut off from interior of shade to avoid damages. 7. Place diffuser (M) onto top of shade (B). 8. Install light bulb into the socket. 9. Remove protective cover (K) from the plug. 10. Plug into electrical outlet and test fixture.
