Product Information

The Fetco LGD/LGS Luxus Dispenser is a commercial beverage dispenser available in three sizes: 1.0 gallon, 1.5 gallons, and 2.0 gallons. It features a sight tube and faucet for easy dispensing. The dispenser comes with several replaceable parts including the top cover, handle, cover funnel, flip-lid, cover cup, bottom cover, neck gasket, complete faucet, faucet O-ring, faucet bushing, complete faucet UPR asbly, faucet seat cup, handle, and faucet lock.

Product Usage Instructions

• Daily Maintenance: Empty all coffee or tea, remove and clean the brewer’s brew basket and funnel with a detergent solution and rinse. Allow it to air dry. Wash the drip
  tray and other plastic parts with dish detergent. Avoid using abrasives. To sanitize the dispenser before filling, brew a batch of water only (no coffee) into the dispenser and allow it to rest for 10 minutes. Drain and close the faucet.
• Weekly Maintenance: Use any commercial beverage urn cleaner to clean the inside of the dispenser. We recommend URNEX. Follow the cleaner manufacturer’s instructions. Always thoroughly rinse the brew basket and dispenser after cleaning.
• Accessing Sight Tube and Faucet: To access the sight tube, remove the cover and unscrew the top cap. Press the new sight tube over the bottom fitting O-rings when replacing. Replace the sight tube cover by inserting the base, then the top prongs, and push down. Note that the sight tube cover must be kept in place during operation.
• Removing Drip Tray: Press the latch at the back down and pull the tray out. Twist and pull the faucet forward to remove it.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

• To prevent overflows, ensure dispenser is completely empty before brewing.
• Always open the flip-lid on the funnel for filling of the dispenser.
• Do not use bleach or cleaners containing chlorides.
• Use only non-metallic brushes and cleaning pads.
• Use only the handle to lift or carry the dispenser.
• Do not use the faucet guard to pull or lift the dispenser.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not submerge the dispenser or place in dishwasher.

Daily:

• This is beneficial because it will also pre-heat the dispenser

Weekly, or as needed:

• Use any commercial beverage urn cleaner to clean the inside of the dispenser. We recommend URNEX. Follow the cleaner manufacturer’s instructions. Always thoroughly rinse the brew basket and dispenser after cleaning.
• To access the faucet and sight tube for cleaning: Follow the diagrams!
• Pull the sight tube cover at top pull forward slightly and lift.
• Remove the faucet guard. Push down the faucet lock. Twist and pull the faucet forward. Remove the faucet upper assembly and inspect the seat cup for wear.
• Clean or replace if necessary

REMOVING THE DRIP TRAY
Press the latch at the back down-Pull tray out Twist and pull the faucet forward

Access the sight tube by removing the cover and unscrewing the top cap.
Press the new sight tube over the bottom fitting O-rings when replacing.
Replace the sight tube cover by inserting the base, then the top prongs, and push down. NOTE: Sight tube cover must be kept in place during operation

ACCESSING SIGHT TUBE AND FAUCET
Grip sight tube cover at top, pull and lift.

REINSTALL SIGHT TUBE COVER

1. Push base forward and down.
2. Push too forward and slide auard down to lock.

ACCESSING THE FAUCET & SIGHT TUBE:

• Remove the sight tube cover. Pull the faucet guard up and forward to remove it. Push down the faucet lock- twist the faucet and pull it off.
• To access the sight tube: remove the sight tube cap. Reinstall sight tube on barbed fitting on two O-rings (wet O-rings to assist)
• Replace the faucet by pushing onto the tube and twisting. Secure by pushing the faucet lock up and reinstalling the sight tube cover
