Ada Thailand Co2 Attache Regulator Owner's Manual

CO2 Attache Regulator

Product Information

This product is the CO2 Attache Regulator used for growing and
maintaining aquatic plants and tropical fish in an aquarium. It is
designed exclusively for a large size CO2 bottle such as Tower and
cannot be connected with a small size CO2 cartridge. This regulator
is equipped with fixed pressure inhibition function that controls
outflow pressure to 0.3MPa, and makes it possible to distribute CO2
to multiple aquariums through various distribution parts, and
control CO2 supply automatically with a solenoid valve.

Safety Instructions

  • Read the instruction manual carefully and use this product
    properly.
  • Do NOT use this product for any purpose other than aquarium
    use.
  • Before use make sure that the CO2 bottle and CO2 regulator are
not deformed, free from foreign matters, or otherwise damaged.
  • Please use CO2 bottle in upright position. The use of regulator
in a lying position may cause malfunction.
  • Do not wet the CO2 regulator and CO2 bottle with water, as this
may cause malfunction. Do not put them in water.
  • Please use genuine ADA products for CO2 distribution parts.
Always use Check valve with this product. Backflow of water may
cause the breakage of CO2 regulator and solenoid valve.
  • In case white frost appears on the surface of CO2 bottle during
use, do NOT touch with bare hands, Cover it with a cloth for
    handling.
  • Before detaching the CO2 bottle, make sure the CO2 bottle valve
is completely shut off. Do NOT throw CO2 bottle into the fire
during use, as well as before and after use. It may cause explosion
of the CO2 bottle. Avoid a place of high temperature (40 or above)
and direct sunlight for using and storing this product.
  • ADA is not responsible for death and/or disease of aquatic
plants or organisms. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before the installation of this product, make sure to read the
instruction manual carefully and understand all of its
    directions.
  2. Make sure that the CO2 bottle and CO2 regulator are not
deformed, free from foreign matters, or otherwise damaged.
  3. Attach the CO2 regulator to a CO2 bottle and make sure that the
internal seal is in the right place, and fix firmly with tools such
as a wrench. If not fixed completely, high-pressure CO2 gas may
leak when opening the CO2 bottle valve.
  4. Use the CO2 bottle in an upright position. The use of regulator
in a lying position may cause malfunction.
  5. Use genuine ADA products for CO2 distribution parts. Always use
Check valve with this product. Backflow of water may cause the
breakage of CO2 regulator and solenoid valve.
  6. If white frost appears on the surface of CO2 bottle during use,
do NOT touch with bare hands, Cover it with a cloth for
    handling.
  7. When detaching the CO2 bottle, make sure the CO2 bottle valve
    is completely shut off.
  8. Avoid a place of high temperature (40 or above) and direct
sunlight for using and storing this product.

Safety Instruction

Please read carefully

This product is designed for growing and maintaining aquatic plants and tropical fish in an aquarium. Do NOT use this product for any purpose other than aquarium use.
Read the instruction manual carefully and use this product properly. This product is exclusively designed for a large size CO2 bottle such as Tower.
It cannot be connected with a small size CO2 cartridge.
This is to be used for liquefied CO2 bottle ONLY. The use of O2 (oxygen) bottle may lead to serious accidents such as explosion of the bottle.
Before use make sure that the CO2 bottle and CO2 regulator are not deformed, free from foreign matters, or otherwise damaged.
Before attaching the CO2 regulator to a CO2 bottle, please make sure that the internal seal is in a right place, and fix firmly with tools such as a wrench. If not fixed
completely, high pressure CO2 gas may leak when opening the CO2 bottle valve.
Please use CO2 bottle in upright position. The use of regulator in a lying position may cause malfunction.
Do not wet the CO2 regulator and CO2 bottle with water, as this may cause malfunction. Do not put them in water.
Please use genuine ADA products for CO2 distribution parts. Always use Check valve with this product. Backflow of water may cause the break-
age of CO2 regulator and solenoid valve.
In case white frost appears on the surface of CO2 bottle during use, do NOT touch with bare hands, Cover it with a cloth for handling.
Before detaching the CO2 bottle, make sure the CO2 bottle valve is completely shut off. Do NOT throw CO2 bottle into the fire during use, as well as before and after use. It
may cause explosion of the CO2 bottle. Avoid a place of high temperature (40 or above) and direct sunlight for using and storing this product.

Joint stick can be removed by pulling out it while pushing the Release bush. Please remove Joint stick when connecting CO2 regulator with Pressure-resistance tube.
For connection with CO2 distribution parts and solenoid valve, make sure to use Pressure-resistance tube or Joint stick. Insert a Pressure-resistant tube or Joint stick firmly to the end until it stops.
Pressure-resistance tube cannot be connected with glass items directly. For connection with glass items, make sure to use Silicone tube.
To connect Pressure resistant tube and Silicone tube, use Check valve, or CO2 distribution parts in combination with Joint stick.
When selecting glass items, please visit our web site, and choose the product fitting to the aquarium size.

3. Installation

Please read carefully

Before attaching CO2 regulator to CO2 bottle, make sure that Fine adjustment screw is tightly closed and Fine adjustment setting screw is loose.
After making sure that the Internal seal is in a right position, tighten the regulator’s Box nut onto the gas supply port of the CO2 bottle. Then tighten it firmly with a wrench.
Slowly open the Fine adjustment screw and confirm the CO2 gas is coming out of the regulator’s CO2 outflow. (It will make a hissing sound.)
Once CO2 flow is confirmed, close the Fine adjustment screw, and connect CO2 distribution system, following the Connection diagram. Once setup is complete, adjust the supply amount of CO2 with Fine adjustment screw. In order to keep the supply amount fixed, slowly tighten Fine adjustment setting screw while holding the Fine adjustment screw in position.
When handling the Fine adjustment screw or Fine adjustment setting screw, please operate with fingers. The use of screw driver or pincers puts excessive force on the screws, and may cause breakage.
Do not use the Fine adjustment screw for a purpose of controlling CO2 supply shut off or restarting. Frequent adjustment by Fine adjustment screw, or placing excessive force on the screw may wear out the screw, and it makes fine adjustments difficult. Please use Ball balve for the CO2 supply on/off operation.
