Installation Instructions for Clybourn Chandelier

General Product Information:

The Clybourn Chandelier (product code CLYBOURN_CHAND) comes in
two models – 3161603 and 3161606. These fixtures are intended to be
installed utilizing NEC compliant junction boxes. This product is
safety listed for damp locations. This instruction shows a typical
installation. It is important to note that this product must be
installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved. Please save these instructions!

Installation Procedure:

  1. Attach the half ball mounting plate to the junction box.
  2. Fix the stem onto the mounting plate.
  3. Attach the canopy collar nut onto the stem.
  4. Attach the fixture onto the stem.
  5. Attach the lamp socket onto the fixture.
  6. Tighten the canopy collar nut onto the fixture to secure it in
    place.
  7. Insert the lamps completely into the socket holes. Refer to the
    label on the socket for Max Wattage Information.
  8. Screw the shade onto the socket threads.
  9. Repeat steps 5-8 for remaining shades.

Please ensure that you follow all instructions carefully to
ensure a safe and proper installation of your Clybourn

Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

1 Screw the half ball to the stem which will be on top. 2 Determine the wanted height or look of the fixture with the provided stems, then assemble them by screwing them together. 3 Feed the fixture wires through the stem assembly, then screw the stem assembly on top of the fixture. 4 Feed the fixture wires through the collar nut, canopy, and the half ball assembly, then screw it onto the stem assembly. 5 Align and secure the mounting plate to the junction box, then slide the half ball assembly onto the mounting plate. 6 Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes. 7 Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut. 8 Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut. 9 Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the canopy onto the mounting plate, and secure it in place by screwing the collar nut
tightly onto the mounting plate. 10 Install the lamps by inserting them completely into the socket holes. Refer to the label on the socket for Max Wattage Information. 11 Screw the shade onto the socket threads. Repeat for remaining shades.
