Machine

Overall safety instructions

You ought to read the manual prior to first use. If in doubts about plugging and operating the machine, contact the manufacturer (service department).

To ensure high safety level, observe following instructions: 

  • Check the completeness, function and tightness of the machine!
  • Never start up malfunctioning or defective machine. Contact the manufacturer or let the machine to be checked by a qualified mechanic
  • Always work cautiously and with necessary carefulness!
  • Never use inordinate force!
  • Always wear safety gear (goggles, gloves, safety shoes, etc.).
  • Steel, metal or other materials can brake while pressing. So take adequate safety measures around.
  • Keep children and unconcerned people out of reach.
  • Anchor the press firmly into ground, use dowels and screws.
  • Never try to stretch or squeeze springs.
  • Check all parts for function and tightness before each use.
  • Faulty parts need to be replaced with adequate spare ones.
  • While transporting the press, there might loose some air in the lifting cylinder. Due these air bubbles, the press might not work properly. To deaerate lifting cylinder do this:
  • turn the valve of lifting cylinder anticlockwise maximum twice.
  • remove the plug of the lifting cylinder.
  • pump up in short intervals with the lever of lifting cylinder.
  • repeat this procedure as often as necessary.
  • close the lifting cylinder with the plug again.

What to do in emergency

Give adequate first aid needed and seek the qualified medical attendance as soon as possible.

Operation requirements

Operator must read the manual properly prior to use.

Qualification

Except detailed instruction by an expert, there is no special qualification needed to operate the machine.

Minimum age

Operate the machine can only persons over 16 years.
Exception is using by the youths during professional training under the supervision of an instructor.

Training

Operating the machine requires only corresponding instruction by an expert resp. user’s manual. Special training is not necessary.

Transportation and storage

Assembly and first start up

Safety instruction for the first start up

  • Pay attention to secure fastening of the machine to the suitable surface.
  • Ensure that all fastenings are tight

Procedure

Fasten the machine firmly to the ground

Operation

  • By inserting the pin into the frame set the working height needed.
  • Close the valve of lifting cylinder
  • Pump up with the lever of the lifting cylinder
  • By opening the valve, lifting cylinder is coming back to the original position.

  • Follow all safety instructions stated in the manual
  • Act responsibly towards other persons

Keep the machine clean and dust free.
Grease all moving parts.
