Product Information: Trailer Rack Kit
The Trailer Rack Kit (Part Number: 504484) is a complete set of
hardware required for installation of a trailer rack. The kit
includes two Trailer Rack Bars (Part# 504483), four Trailer Rack
Mounting Brackets (Part# 504482), 16 plastic caps (Part# 501157),
eight 5/16-18 x 3/4 carriage bolts (Part# 501010), eight 5/16-18 x
2 carriage bolts (Part# 501077), and 16 5/16-18 nylon insert hex
flange locknuts (Part# 501083). The kit comes in a box (Part#
503237) with a 5×8 4mil zipper bag (Part# 503199) and an
instruction sheet (Part# 503238).
Product Usage Instructions
The installation instructions for the Trailer Rack Kit vary
depending on the size of the trailer rack. Below are the
instructions for each size:
4 X 6 ft Trailer rack installation
- Use holes 1 & 3 on the mounting bracket for driver and
passenger side. - Mark and drill a hole in the side channel.
- Secure with a 5/16×3/4 carriage bolt and 5/16 nut.
4 X 7 ft Trailer rack installation
- Use holes 2 & 4 on the mounting bracket for driver and
passenger side. - Mark and drill a hole in the side channel.
- Secure with a 5/16×3/4 carriage bolt and 5/16 nut.
5 X 7 ft/ 5 X 10 ft Trailer rack installation
- Use holes 2 & 4 on the mounting bracket for driver and
passenger side. - Mark and drill a hole in the side channel.
- Secure with a 5/16×3/4 carriage bolt and 5/16 nut.
Kit trailer rack installation
- Use holes 2 & 4 on the mounting bracket for the driver
side. - Mark and drill a hole in the side channel.
- Secure with a 5/16×3/4 carriage bolt and 5/16 nut.
- Use holes 1 & 3 on the mounting bracket for the passenger
side.
Note: Use 5/16 x 2 carriage bolt and 5/16 nuts for all
installations.

Step 1: Assemble p/n 504483 Trailer Rack Bar to p/n 504482 Trailer Rack Mounting Bracket with 5/16×2″ Carriage Bolts (501077) and nuts (501083). Step 2: Align the assembled bar and mount to the trailer, mark the mounting holes and drill for a 5/16″ bolt (501010). Step 3: Secure the assembly to the trailer using the 5/16″x ¾” carriage bolts (501010) and nuts (501083)

Step 2: Align the assembled bar and mount to the trailer, mark the mounting holes and drill for a 5/16″ bolt (501010). Step 3: Secure the assembly to the trailer using the 5/16″x ¾” carriage bolts (501010) and nuts (501083)
