Product Information: 900 ACE TURBO / TURBO-R Downpipe
The 900 ACE TURBO / TURBO-R Downpipe is an aftermarket component
designed to enhance the performance of your vehicle. It replaces
the stock downpipe with a high-quality, precision-engineered
downpipe that improves exhaust flow and increases power output. The
downpipe is compatible with the 900 ACE Turbo and Turbo-R
models.
Installation Guide

Estimated Installation Time: 1 hour 15 minutes – 1 hour 30
minutes
Recommended Tools:
- Socket wrench set
- Spring hook tool
- Torx screwdriver
- Ty-rap (zip tie) removal tool
- Heat-resistant gloves
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Disconnect Battery
Unplug the battery to ensure safety during the installation
process.
Step 2: Remove Side Panels
Take off both side panels to access the components.
Step 3: Remove Instrument Panel
Unplug and remove the instrument panel for easier access.
Step 4: Remove Hood and Air Intake Tube
Unplug the light connector and remove the hood bolt. Loosen the
air intake tube clamp and remove the hood.
Step 5: Remove Side Panel Bolt
Remove the side panel bolt to prepare for further
disassembly.
Step 6: Remove Muffler Springs
Mark the springs’ side for easier reinstallation, then remove
the springs from the muffler side. Do not remove the springs from
the turbo side.
Step 7: Remove Muffler
Remove the muffler bolt and spring, then detach the muffler from
the vehicle.
Step 8: Unplug and Remove Oxygen Sensor
Remove the ty-rap holding the oxygen sensor wires, unplug the
sensor connector, and carefully remove the sensor without twisting
the wires.
Step 9: Remove Downpipe Bolts
Remove the bolts from the downpipe to detach it from the
vehicle.
Step 10: Remove Downpipe, Spring, and Flange
Remove the complete downpipe, spring, and flange. Reuse the
metal gasket with the small square part positioned backwards and
upwards (see arrow).
Step 11: Lubricate Downpipe Bolts
Gently lubricate the three downpipe bolts for smooth
installation.
Step 12: Install Precision EFI Downpipe
Install the Precision EFI downpipe and torque the bolts first at
15 Nm, then a final torque at 37 Nm.
Step 13: Install Oxygen Sensor
Install the sensor on the downpipe and plug the sensor connector
into its original location.
Step 14: Secure Sensor Wires
Fix the sensor wires using two ty-raps to ensure proper
positioning.
Step 15: Allow Sensor Wire Free Play
Leave some free play on the sensor side to prevent strain on the
wires.
Step 16: Reuse Original Lead Seal
Reuse the original lead seal to maintain proper sealing.
Step 17: Remove Heat Shield Retaining Pin
Remove the push pin that retains the heat shield for further
adjustments.
Step 18: Adjust Heat Shield Position
Slide the heat shield outwards to allow more space and bend the
end to prevent contact with the downpipe. Reinstall it in place
using the push pin.
Step 19: Cut Muffler Inlet Baffle
Using a 2-inch hole saw, cut the muffler inlet baffle. If any
piece falls into the muffler, remove it with a magnetic pick-up
tool.
Step 20: Reinstall Components
Install the muffler, springs, side panel bolt, hood (plug the
light connectors), and instrument panel. Don’t forget to install
the air intake tube, plug the battery, and install the two side
upper panels.
Following these steps will ensure a successful installation of
the 900 ACE TURBO / TURBO-R Downpipe, improving the performance of
your vehicle.

1 Unplug the battery
2 remove both side panels.
3 Unplug and remove the instrument panel
4 unplug the light connector and remove hood bolt.
5 Loose the air intake tube clap and remove the hood

mark the springs side for easier reinstallation then remove the springs from the muffler side.
2 Do not remove the springs from the turbo side
3 Remove the muffler bolt and spring

Remove the ty-rap which hold the oxygen sensor wires
6 Unplug the sensor connector

Remove the sensor, be sure to not twist the wires
8 Remove the bolts from the downpipe

Remove the complet downpipe, spring and flange.
Reuse the metal gasket with the small square part backwards and upwards ( see arrow)
11 Gently lubricate the 3 downpipe bolts
12 Install the Precision EFI downpipe, torque first at 15 Nm and a last time to 37 Nm

13 Install the sensor on the downpipe
14 Plug the sensor connector to is original location
15 Fix the wire with 2 ty-rap

Very important to leave a wire free play on the sensor side
17 Reuse the original lead seal
18 Remove the push pin which retains the heat shield

Slide the heat shield outwards to allow more space
Bend the end of the heat shield to prevent it from coming into contact with the downpipe and reinstall it in place with the push pin

Cut the muffler inlet baffle using a 2 inches hole saw. If the peace falls into the muffler, remove it with a magnetic pick-up tool

Install the muffler, the springs, the side panel bolt, the hood (plug the light connectors) and the instrument panel.
Don’t forget to install the air intake tube, to plug the battery and to install the 2 side upper panels
