L-500 Outswing Narrow Frame Door

Product Information:

The product is a Bracket L-500 designed for use with outswing
narrow frame doors. It is used in combination with an
electromagnetic lock system, specifically the 10010, 10020, 10040,
and 10060 Series. The L-500 bracket is suitable for use with magnet
grades ranging from 300 lbs to 1200 lbs.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Start by drilling the holes marked on the provided
   template.
2. Using an 8 mm drill bit, create a hole through the door.
   Enlarge the hole to 16 mm from the outside.
3. Using a 6.8 mm drill bit, create a hole from the inside. Screw
   in a M8-1.25 thread into the hole.
4. Using an 8 mm drill bit, create a hole through the door.
   Enlarge the hole to 12.7 mm from the outside. The thickness of the
   door should be 36 mm.
5. Assemble the electromagnet and L bracket using an Allen
   wrench.
6. Turn on the power of the electromagnet and allow it to bond
   with the armature plate.
7. Press the L bracket against the door frame.
8. Securely fasten the L bracket to the door frame.
9. Test the unit by tapping the plugs into the electromagnet.

Fold the mounting template 90º angle along the dotted line.

Drill the holes marked on the template.

8mm 16mm Drill a hole 8 mm in diameter through the door. Enlarge the hole to 16 mm from outside.

6.8mm for M8-1.25 thread Drill a hole 6.8 mm in diameter from inside. Screw with a M8-1.25 thread.
Finish

8mm 12.7mm Drill a hole 8 mm in diameter through the door. Enlarge the hole to 12.7 mm from outside. The thickness of the door is 36 mm.

Power

Power

Assemble the electromagnet and L bracket with an Allen wrench.

Turn on the power of electromagnet. Let the electromagnet and the armature plate bond together. Press L bracket against the door frame.

Fasten L bracket on the door frame.

Test the unit. Tap the plugs into the electromagnet
