- Remove dirt container
- Empty dirt and debris into a trash bin
- Check the filter
- Locate and turn the filter removal tab clockwise to operate the Clean-Turn feature
- As you turn the tab, the filter will turn and help clean off excess dirt and debris
- Pull the tab up to remove the filter from the dirt cup and empty into waste bin
- Turn filter assembly tab counterclockwise to remove the mesh filter frame
- Remove debris from filter
- Do not rub with cloth or brush off debris
- Filter can be rinsed in warm water to clean
- Allow filter to completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- Replace filter back into the frame
- Turn tab clockwise to lock the pieces together
- Place filter back into dirt cup
- Replace filter if needed
- Check for Clogs
- Check hand vac and remove any clogs before replacing
