- Remove the clear tab that sticks out of the battery door by pulling straight out
- There is a tiny button on the end of the tool that you insert into the hose or wand
- Press the button to see if it lights up in the front of the tool
- If tool lights up while detached, tool must be firmly connected to hose to illuminate
- Dead batteries will need to be replaced
- Remove the screw in the middle of the battery access door

- Remove the cover to reveal two (CR1632 3V) batteries
- Replace the dead batteries with new ones
- Be sure the “+” sign on the battery is facing out
- Replace the door and the screw
