Intended Use: This product is a PV DC connection cable that is
assembled on one or both sides with MC4 or MC4-Evo 2. It is used
for installation or prepared for further assembly.
Safety: It is important to follow the assembly and safety
instructions to prevent life-threatening injuries due to electric
shock, electric arcs, fire, or system failure. Only an electrician
or electrically instructed person should assemble, install and
commission the system.
Tools Required: PV-MS-PLS tool (Order No 326058) or Open-end
spanner set PV-MS (Order No 326024)
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, read the safety instructions carefully to
avoid any potential risks. - Ensure that you have the required tools, either the PV-MS-PLS
tool or the Open-end spanner set PV-MS. - For mating, mate the cable coupler until a “click” can be heard
and check correct engagement by lightly pulling on the connector
(maximum pulling force: 20 N). - Do not assemble connectors that are not fully engaged as this
could lead to a permanent deflection of clips and thus to a
potential loss of the locking function. The engaged connector
locking function has to be verified. - To disconnect, use the PV-MS-PLS/2 tool or PV-MS tool.
- Ensure that cable routing is done properly with a minimum of 20
mm distance between cables and avoid any mechanical stress or
vibration that could cause damage to the connectors. - In case of contaminated or damaged connectors, do not modify or
repair the component.

· Brug ALDRIG et produkt, som åbenlyst er beskadiget
· Brug KUN værktøjer og procedurer, som er godkendt af Stäubli
· Ved montering af en jordbøsning, skal de respektive monteringsinstruktioner til jordbøsningen følges (se tekniske datatabel)
Prerequisites for installation and assembly
· NEVER use an obviously damaged product
· ONLY tools and procedures approved by Stäubli shall be used
· When mounting a connector, the respective assembly instructions of the connector (see technical data table) must be observed
Konnektering og frakobling
Bemærk at der kan være spænding på kabler der frakobles, samt konnekteres fra solpanelet!
· Fjern ALTID strømmen fra solcelle-anlægget før konnektering og frakobling!
· Frakobl ALDRIG, når der er spænding på kablerne!
· Forbind ALDRIG Stäubli stik og bøsninger med andre fabrikater!
Mating and disconnecting
Live parts can remain energized after isolation or disconnection
· ALWAYS de-energize the photovoltaic system before mating and disconnecting the connectors
· NEVER disconnect the connectors under load
· NEVER connect male or female part of Stäubli connector with connectors of other manufacturers

Generelt om installation
· ikke konnekterede stik og bøsninger skal beskyttes mod miljø påvirkninger (fugt, jord, støv, mm) med beskyttelseskapperne For bøsning PV-BVK4, varenr 320716, for stik PV-SVK4, varenr 320717
· Konnekter aldrig beskidte stik/bøsninger
· Stik og bøsninger må ikke komme i kontakt med kemikalier!
General notes on installation
· Unmated connectors must be protected from environmental impact (moisture, dirt, dust, etc) with sealing caps (socket PV-BVK4, order No 320716; plug PV-SVK4, order No 320717)
· Do not mate contaminated connectors
· Connectors must not come into contact with any chemicals
Kabelføring
· For at undgå stress på kablet og stikket, skal der være min 20mm kabel fra kabelforskruningen, FØR bøjning af kablet Se kabelfabrikantens specifikationer for den min bøjningsradius
· I særdeleshed anvendelsesnoter i henhold til Bilag A af IEC 62930 skal følges
Cable routing
· Cable management must allow a minimum of 20 mm of cable that exits straight from the cable seal without bending or stress Refer to cable manufacturer specification for minimum bending radius
· In particular, the application notes according to Annex A of IEC 62930 must be observed

· Sæt ikke kabelbindere direkte på isolationen til stik og bøsninger
Contaminated/damaged connectors:
· Do not allow connectors to be contaminated by the environment (eg soil, water, insects, dust)
· Do not allow the connector to be contaminated on its surface (eg stickers, paint, heat shrink tubing)
· Do not allow that the connector is directly on the roofing surface
· Do not allow that the connector is at the lowest point of cabling where water can collect
· Do not allow that the connector is in standing water
· Do not allow cable ties to be mounted directly on the connector body
