The LED Disk Light is a high-quality lighting fixture that
provides efficient and reliable illumination. It is available in
two models with different wattage and lumen output:

• Model: D236-90-5000-WH, SKU#: 1550458, 15W, 1300Lm
• Model: D228-20W-90-5000-WH, SKU#: 1550459, 20W, 1600Lm

The LED Disk Light features a 6-inch or 8-inch white housing and
has a color temperature of 5000K, providing cool white light. It
operates at an input voltage of 120V and supports TRIAC dimming.
The light is UL and ES certified for safety.

Installation (SKU #: 1550458)

To install the LED Disk Light using surface mount:

1. Ensure all electrical connections are in accordance with local
   and national electrical code standards.
2. Disconnect the main power at the fuse or circuit breaker before
   installing or servicing the fixture.
3. Follow the specific assembly and installation instructions
   provided for IC/AT fixture or retrofit assembly.
4. For IC/AT fixtures, the light is intended for use in suspended
   ceilings with or without insulation.
5. For retrofit installation, follow the provided instructions for
   both incandescent and LED housings.

Recommended Dimmers for LED Housings

The following dimmer models from Lutron and Leviton are
recommended for use with LED housings:

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
This IC/AT fixture is intended for use in suspended ceilings (with or without insulaon). Shut off power before installaon

· Prepare fixture for recessed installaon.(FIG.1) · Remove lens by twisng counter clockwise. (FIG.2) · Connect supply wires to wires on fixture with wire nuts or push wires into Quick Connector.Connect white to white , black to black,and copper wire to copper wire as grounding connecon.(FIG.3) · Arrange the wires into the back of the juncon box. · Align appropriate holes in the mounng fixture with the holes in the juncon box.Using 2 of the longer screws (either #6 or #8 screws depending on the size of the holes in your juncon box) aach the mounng fixture is flush with the ceiling. Do not over-ghten screws or fixture will not be ght to ceiling. (FIG.4) · Complete the installaon by turn lens clockwise to lock. (FIG.5)

6″ LED DISK LIGHT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS RETROFIT

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

INCANDESCENT HOUSINGS
· Unscrew the WING NUT inside the CAN to detach the SOCKET BRACKET from the CAN. Disengage the SOCKET from the SOCKET BRACKET. (FIG. 2) · Thread the SOCKET ADAPTER into the SOCKET. (FIG. 3) · Place spring on mounng bracket and complete the installaon by twisng the lens on the light. (FIG. 4) · If using TORSION SPRINGS, squeeze both TORSION SPRING arms together and insert into the TORSION SPRING SLOTS (orplace spring on mounng bracket RECEIVER BRACKETS) of the CAN. (FIG. 5) · Tuck all wires into the CAN and carefully push the RETROFIT TRIM into CAN. (NOTE: To provide enough room in shallow cans, carefully posion SOCKET ADAPTER and SOCKET adjacent to the long side of the LED DRIVER prior to inserng the RETROFIT TRIM into the CAN.) (FIG. 5)

· Plug the FEMALE CONNECTOR of the RETROFIT TRIM onto the MALE CONNECTOR of the HALO HOUSING. (FIG. 5) · If using TORSION SPRINGS, squeeze both TORSION SPRING arms together and insert into the TORSION SPRING SLOTS (or RECEIVER BRACKETS) of the CAN. (FIG. 5) · Tuck all wires into the CAN and carefully push the RETROFIT TRIM into CAN. (NOTE: To provide enough room in shallow cans, carefully posion SOCKET ADAPTER and SOCKET adjacent to the long side of the LED DRIVER prior to inserng the RETROFIT TRIM into the CAN.) Dimming performance may depend on the dimmer, the dimmer range adjustment seng (for dimmers with brightness range adjustments), the wiring method, and/or the number of LED modules installed onto the dimmer circuit. For dimmer selecon, Dimming control manufacturers revise their product oen; for the latest list of compable dimmers please visit our website. For best results, it is recommended to install a minimum of four LED modules onto one dimmer. Before turning on the LED lights, set dimmer posion at maximum before adjusng to a lower light level. Please follow the dimming control manufacturer’s instrucons for the installaon of all dimming controls.
