Product Information for ED2833
The ED2833 module is a low power data communication system that
installs a radio system approved as a radio station based on the
Radio Law. It complies with the following regulatory
information:
- Japan Regulatory Information – approved with a specific antenna
and has an identifier of ED2833 : 005-103105 - Canada Regulatory Information – complies with Innovation,
Science and Economic Development Canada’s applicable licence-exempt
RSSs and certified as a type of portable device with Innovation,
Science and Economic Development Canada Rules. It also has an RF
Exposure requirement of maintaining a separation distance of
minimum 15 mm between the user and/or bystander and the antenna and
/or radiating element. - FCC Regulatory Information – complies with part 15 of the FCC
Rules and is only authorized for specific rule parts (Part 15
Subpart C) listed on the grant. The host product manufacturer is
responsible for compliance to any other FCC rules that apply to the
host not covered by the modular transmitter grant of certification.
The final host product still requires Part 15 Subpart B compliance
testing with the modular transmitter installed.
Product Usage Instructions for ED2833
To use the ED2833 module, follow these instructions:
- Install the module in the host device according to the
interface specification. - Ensure that your product can bear a label with the regulatory
information specified above. If the product is too small, place it
in the instruction manual and package. - For Canada Regulatory Information, maintain a separation
distance of minimum 15 mm between the user and/or bystander and the
antenna and /or radiating element to maintain compliance with RF
Exposure requirement. - For FCC Regulatory Information, ensure that the final host
product still requires Part 15 Subpart B compliance testing with
the modular transmitter installed. - Do not make any changes or modifications not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance as it could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.

2) Canada Regulatory Information The following information must be indicated on the host device of this module; a) This device complies with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s applicable licence-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause interference; and (2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
