- Unplug machine
- Empty dirt container
- Check filters
- Pre-motor filter is washable in warm water with mild detergent
- Post-motor HEPA filter is not washable
- Let completely dry before reinserting into machine
- Plug in machine
- If clean filter indicator is lit with hose attached, but turns off when hose is removed, hose is clogged
- Work clog loose by massaging clogged area and/or gently twisting hose where it’s clogged until clog works itself free
- If clean filter indicator remains lit, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
