PA-250-HS-AF Compact High Speed Axial Fan

Product Information

The 1/4 HP High Speed Axial Fan is an air mover designed to
provide high air volume and speed. It operates at a voltage of 115V
and has a power rating of 1/4HP. The fan has a frequency of 60Hz
and a maximum air volume of 1060CFM. It consumes 1.9 amps of power
and weighs 16.8 lbs. The dimensions of the fan are 14.2″ x 10.6″ x
12″. It operates at a single speed.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the air mover, it is important to read and
understand all the warnings and instructions provided in the user
manual.

Problem: Unit will not run.

Cause: 1. No power to unit. 2. Switch not on. 3. Switch is
faulty. 4. Faulty/broken cord or motor wire.

Solution: 1. Plug unit in and check circuit breaker. 2. Place
the switch in the ON position. 3. Replace the switch if necessary.
4. Perform a continuity check using a volt/amp meter and repair or
replace any faulty or broken wires.

Problem: Unit runs but air mover makes loud scraping
noise.

Cause: 1. Unit has been severely jolted, causing the blower
wheel to rub against the housing. 2. Unit has been severely jolted,
causing the housing to deform.

Solution: 1. Remove the motor and replace damaged motor mounts.
2. Replace the blower wheel.

Problem: Unit runs but vibrates excessively.

Cause: 1. Severe jolt has bent the motor shaft, causing the unit
to be out of balance. 2. Air mover blade is damaged. 3. Dirt
build-up on one side of the air mover blade.

Solution: 1. Remove and replace the motor. 2. Replace the blade
if necessary. 3. Clean the air mover blade.

Problem: Unit runs but blower wheel does not turn.

Cause: 1. Motor bearings are failing or the motor has developed
an internal electrical fault. 2. Intake grill and/or exhaust grill
is obstructed. 3. Excessive duct length.

Solution: 1. Replace the motor. 2. Remove any obstructions from
the intake grill and/or exhaust grill. 3. Reduce the duct length to
the recommended maximum.

Puraero offers a limited warranty of one year on parts and labor
for the equipment, parts, and accessories. The warranty covers
defects in material and workmanship for the original purchaser.

1-Year Warranty Subject to the conditions stated below. PURAERO offers a limited warranty on parts and labor on the following equipment, parts and accessories to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year to the original purchaser.
Wear items exempt from warranty consideration include but may not be limited to: power cords, fan stand , grill. Subject to the conditions and exceptions stated in this warranty. PURAERO warrants the PURAERO products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Under normal use and service. for the periods listed under the warranty policy to the original purchaser. At any time during the warranty period, original owner will be liable for transportation costs to repair facility. PURAERO will furnish replacement parts for the PURAERO products to the original purchaser. Such parts will be fumished and charged including transportation costs, to the original owner. Replacement parts that have become defective through wear or abuse are not included in this warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage or defect caused by accident, misuse, negligence, fire or to any PURAERO product which has been serviced or repaired by other than an authorized PURAERO Service Distributor or PURAERO factory personnel. This warranty is void if products are used for any purpose other than that which was intended. There are no other warranties expressed or implied. In no event shall PURAERO be liable for incidental or consequential damages or any damage to person or property.(Please note some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations for incidental and consequential damages.)
