U Do not use alkaline or alcohol-based cleaning agents; only use mild cleaning agents and a soft cloth
U Only fill the water tank with fresh, cold, non-carbonated water
U Do not use ground coffee treated with additives or ground coffee from caramelised beans
U Switch the machine off if you are going to be absent for a long period of time To do this, remove the mains plug from the power socket

Setting up the machine
When setting up your ONO, please note the following:
U Place the ONO on a horizontal surface that is not sensitive to

U Choose a spot for your ONO which is protected against

The basics of using the ONO
Standby and “ready for use” mode: As soon as the ONO is connected to the power supply with the mains plug, it goes into standby mode Press the t, < or > button to switch on the ONO When the < or > button lights up, this indicates that the ONO has heated up and is ready for use
Positions and operation of the swivel arm:
“Fill position” This is the position in which ground coffee is added to the filler funnel When the grinder is not in use, turn the swivel arm to this position
“Brew position” In this position, pull the release handle and press the swivel arm down to compress the ground coffee
E The swivel arm must only be pressed down in the brew
position E Do not move the swivel arm while the pump is operating
Using ground coffee:
U Only use (freshly) ground coffee, not beans or instant coffee U Never add more than two level measuring spoons of ground

U Very finely ground coffee can block up the system so that the
coffee only comes out in drips If this happens, use more coarsely ground coffee
Filling the water tank: If the b symbol appears during preparation, you can fill the water tank and insert it again within 5 minutes Then press the function button t to confirm Coffee preparation will continue
Example: Coffee Requirement: The swivel arm is in the fill position T Place a cup under the coffee spout T Remove the cover of the filler funnel
E The cover for the powder chute protects against dust Use this cover when not using your ONO for an extended period of time
T Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filler funnel (max 2 level measuring spoons)
E The amount of ground coffee determines the intensity and aroma of the beverage, so you can adjust it to your personal preferences

It is easy to permanently adjust the amount of water for both speciality coffees to the cup size This setting only needs to be made once Every time you prepare a drink in the future, this amount will be dispensed
What to do: Prepare a speciality coffee as described in the section above, but keep the preparation button pressed until there is enough coffee in the cup Then release the button Preparation stops and the symbol flashes twice as confirmation The set amount of water is permanently stored
E You can alter this setting at any time by repeating the above procedure

Filling the water tank
Daily maintenance of the machine and hygiene when handling coffee and water are key to a perfect coffee result in the cup every time You should therefore change the water daily.

The ONO builds up deposits of limescale over time and automatically prompts you to descale it when necessary

this can cause irritation T Avoid contact with the skin or eyes T Rinse off the descaling agent with clean water Should you get

Limescale deposits may form in the water tank To ensure correct
