- Crimping tool and connectors, or solder gun, solder, and heat shrink
- Tape • Wire cutter • Zip ties
CONNECTIONS
From the 70-1722 harness to the aftermarket radio:
- Connect the Black wire to the ground wire.
- Connect the Yellow wire to the battery wire.
- Connect the Red wire to the accessory wire.
- Connect the Orange/White wire to the illumination wire, if applicable.
- Connect the Gray wire to the right front positive speaker wire.
- Connect the Gray/Black wire to the right front negative speaker wire.
- Connect the White wire to the left front positive speaker wire.
- Connect the White/Black wire to the left front negative speaker wire.
- Connect the Green wire to the left rear positive speaker wire.
- Connect the Green/Black wire to the left rear negative speaker wire.
- Connect the Purple wire to the right rear positive speaker wire.
- Connect the Purple/Black to the right rear negative speaker wire.
For vehicles with a factory amplifier:
Models without factory NAV:
- Civic 06-11: Locate the 20-pin harness that was connected to the factory radio. Locate pin-16, a Light Blue wire, then connect that wire to the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket radio.
- CR-V 07-11: Locate the 20-pin harness that was connected to the factory radio. Locate pin15, a Red wire, then connect that wire to the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket radio.
- Odyssey 08-10: Locate the 20-pin harness that was connected to the factory radio.
Locate pin-16, a Yellow/Green wire, then connect that wire to the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket radio.
Models with factory NAV:
- Civic 06-08: Locate the 22-pin harness that was connected to the factory radio. Locate pin-20,a Light Blue wire, then connect that wire to the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket radio.
- CR-V 07-09: Locate the 20-pin harness that was connected to the factory radio. Locate pin15, a Red wire, then connect that wire to the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket radio.
- Odyssey 08-10: Locate the 20-pin harness that was connected to the factory radio.
Locate pin-16, a Yellow/Green wire, then connect that wire to the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket radio.
