1. Fasten the crossbar to the outlet box with two outlet box screws.
2. Connect the black to black (power), white to white (neutral) and brass wire to ground wire with supplied wire connectors.Tuck all wires into outlet box.
3. Mount the canopy onto the mounting bracket and secure it with the canopy screws.
4. Adjust the appropriate height by pressing the elevator (a) up and down the active wire (b) with the tool or thumb.
