Product Information
The COB540MBK is a ceiling fixture that comes with a ceiling
canopy, optional candle covers, mounting hardware, and five bulbs.
It has a fixture body and crossbar assembly. The package also
includes four 12L rods and four 6L rods for optional installation.
The ceiling fixture is recommended for use with 60W bulbs with a
candelabra (E12) base type and bulb shape type B.
Product Usage Instructions
- Decide on the number of rods to use based on the ceiling
height. For an 8-foot ceiling, use one 6L rod and one 12L rod on
each side. For a 9-foot ceiling, use one 6L rod and two 12L rods on
each side. For a 10-foot ceiling, use two 6L rods and two 12L rods
on each side. - Separate the swivels from the ceiling canopy.
- Attach the swivels and ceiling canopy to the upper rods.
- Install the crossbar assembly.
- Install the lanyards.
- Wire the fixture by connecting the white wire from the supply
to the white wire from the fixture and the black (or red) wire from
the supply to the black wire from the fixture. Connect the ground
wire from the supply to the ground wire from the fixture using the
green ground screw. - Install the ceiling canopy.
- Install five bulbs with a maximum wattage as indicated on the
fixture markings and/or labels. The recommended bulb type is
candelabra (E12) type B. - If desired, replace the candle covers on the sockets with the
optional candle covers provided. - Restore electricity and keep this sheet for future
reference.

1 Install Rods Optional Rods:
8 Feet Ceiling: (1) 6″L Rod + (1) 12″L Rod each side. 9 Feet Ceiling: (1) 6″L Rod + (2) 12″L Rods each side. 10 Feet Ceiling: (2) 6″L Rods + (2) 12″L Rods each side.
