Rhino-rack 43179 Cam Buckle Pioneer Pickup Kit User Manual

43179 Cam Buckle Pioneer Pickup Kit

Product Information

The Cam Buckle Pioneer Pickup Kit 43179 is a set of accessories
designed for use with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform or Tray and
Tradie Tray. It includes pickup mouldings, cam buckles, screws,
nuts, and an Allen key.

The maximum lashing capacity of the kit is 225kg/496Lbs per set.
It is recommended to use non-stretch fastening ropes or straps for
securing loads. Overloading the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform/Tray or
Tradie Tray and roof bars should be avoided, and the vehicle’s roof
carrying capacity should be checked. Increased sensitivity to cross
winds should be taken into account when driving off-road due to the
increased vehicle roof height.

Regularly checking the strap condition for signs of abrasion is
important. Damaged straps should not be used and should be
immediately replaced. The roof capacity should not be overloaded,
and loads should be evenly distributed. When putting the vehicle
through an automatic car wash, the load and roof racks should be
removed.

Transporting a load on the roof can change the handling
characteristics of the vehicle. Extreme care should be exercised
when transporting large wind-resisting loads, especially when
negotiating corners and under braking.
