GW2780 LCD Monitor
Product Information
The LCD Monitor Model No. GW2780, GW2780E, GW2780T, BL2780, and
BL2780T contains hazardous substances such as Pb and BFRs which are
covered by exemptions under the RoHS directive. However, the
majority of these substances are present in the printed circuit
boards assembly. To reduce emissions as much as possible, a
complete disposal of the old appliance is required. This treatment
may only be performed in authorized handling plants.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before disassembling, prepare the following tools: Philips
Screwdriver for M3 Screw, Nosed Pliers, Diagonal Cutting Pliers,
Slotted screwdriver, Six Point Sockets, Philips Screwdriver for
M2.5 Screw, and Knife. - Refer to the product exploded view and package view to identify
the different parts of the monitor. - To disassemble the monitor, follow these steps:
- Disassemble Stand
- Unscrew
- Disassemble RC
- Disassemble Internal
- Disassemble DECO
- Unscrew MF & PNL screw*9 pcs
- Disassemble MF & Panel
- Disassemble Control BD
- Disassemble Mylar & unscrew D-sub
- Disassemble PCBs
- Disassemble Lens and sensor BD
- Disassemble Column
- Disassemble Base
- Refer to the recycle characteristics table to identify which
parts can be reused, recycled, and which parts require special
recovery or disposal. - The total disassembly time is approximately 30 minutes.
