OAC-30 Outdoor Central Chiller

Product Information:

Mokon Outdoor Central Chiller systems are designed for exterior
installation, allowing for valuable indoor equipment space to be
freed up. These central chiller systems are factory tested and
wired, arriving on site in complete working order. They are
constructed with easy lifting provisions for quick and trouble-free
installation and are designed for safe and easy service.

The chiller systems are available in air-cooled and water-cooled
models, with a range of capacities from 30 to 120 tons. The
air-cooled models include OAC-30, OAC-40, OAC-50, OAC-60, OAC-80,
OAC-100, and OAC-120. The water-cooled models include OWC-30,
OWC-40, OWC-50, OWC-60, OWC-80, OWC-100, and OWC-120.

The chiller systems come with various pump options to meet
process conditions or specific performance needs. The pump options
include different horsepower (Hp) ratings and flow rates (GPM) with
corresponding pressure ratings (PSI). The connection types vary
between FNPT (Female National Pipe Thread) and flange
connections.

The approximate dimensions of the chiller systems range from 143
x 54 x 80 inches to 205 x 54 x 80 inches, depending on the model
and tank size (in gallons).

The chiller systems feature an advanced programmable
microprocessor-based controller designed specifically for chiller
applications. The controller provides lead lag functionality to
extend compressor life, capacity control staging, built-in delay,
safety functions, and more. The controllers are compact yet
accurate and powerful.

Standard features of the chiller systems include energy
reduction capabilities and a remote control panel. Common options
and accessories are available to enhance the functionality of the
chiller systems.

All Mokon outdoor central chillers undergo rigorous simulated
field tests and are 100% factory calibrated and run tested. Mokon
offers a 1-year warranty on the chiller systems.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Select the appropriate model of the Outdoor Central Chiller
system based on your cooling requirements and available space.
  2. If you require a water-cooled model, choose the desired process
pump with the suitable horsepower (Hp) rating, flow rate (GPM), and
    pressure rating (PSI).
  3. If you require an air-cooled model, no additional pump
    selection is necessary.
  4. Ensure that the pump connections match your existing plumbing
system, choosing between FNPT and flange connections.
  5. Determine the tank size (in gallons) based on your application
    needs.
  6. Consider the dimensions of the chiller system to ensure proper
    installation space.
  7. Connect the chiller system to the power supply and follow the
installation instructions provided in the user manual.
  8. Use the advanced programmable microprocessor-based controller
to set up and control the chiller system. Refer to the user manual
for detailed instructions on programming and utilizing the
    controller’s features.
  9. Monitor the chiller system during operation, ensuring it
maintains the desired cooling performance. Adjust settings as
    necessary using the controller.
  10. For any issues or concerns, refer to the troubleshooting
section of the user manual or contact Mokon customer support for
    assistance.

Please note that the information provided is a general guide.
Always refer to the specific user manual and follow the
manufacturer’s instructions for your particular model of the Mokon
Outdoor Central Chiller system.
