Product Information

The SD Series Grade 2 Standard Duty Cylindrical Lock is a
product that is designed for commercial use. The lock is ADA
compliant and suitable for various types of doors. It comes with an
antimicrobial coating technology that inhibits the growth of
microbes, providing additional hygiene benefits. The lock is
available in different finishes, including Bright Brass, Oil Rubbed
Bronze, Satin Nickel, Flat Black, and Satin Chromium. It also has
several functions, levers, and accessories that can be customized
according to the user’s needs.

Product Usage Instructions

The SD Series Grade 2 Standard Duty Cylindrical Lock can be
installed on various types of doors. The lock is non-handed, which
means it can be used on both left and right-handed doors without
any modifications. Before installation, ensure that the door is
properly aligned with the frame and that the lock’s backset matches
the door’s thickness.

To install the lock:

  1. Remove the old lock and prepare the door according to the
    manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Install the latchbolt in the door edge and secure it with
    screws.
  3. Insert the chassis into the door hole and align it with the
    latchbolt.
  4. Secure the chassis with screws.
  5. Install the levers, rose, and strike plate according to the
    manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Test the lock for proper operation before use.

To rekey the lock:

  1. Remove the cylinder from the lock.
  2. Remove the old pins from the cylinder and replace them with new
    ones according to the new key’s specifications.
  3. Reinsert the cylinder into the lock and test it with the new
    key.
