Product Information:
The product is an indoor ceiling light fixture with item number
P1893-613. It comes with a mounting plate, ground screw, mounting
screws, canopy, and three medium base bulbs (not included). The
fixture wires are black or smooth for hot, white or ribbed for
neutral, and bare copper for ground. The fixture has a maximum
wattage rating of 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Before installation, shut off power at the fuse box or circuit
breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting
hardware. - Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a
clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for
installation. - Determine the desired hanging height by loosening screw D (G)
from bushing (H) and pushing cord through the center of bushing
(H), if necessary, cut cord leaving an additional 8 to allow for
electrical connection. - Secure cord into bushing (H) by tightening screw (G).
- Carefully cut and remove approximately 4 of the outer sheathing
from the cord and strip 1/2 of the wire ends bare to expose copper
strands. - Position Mounting Plate (B) to ceiling, mark the location of
the three drywall anchors (D), pre-drill holes for the drywall
anchors (D), and insert drywall anchors (D) into ceiling. - Attach mounting plate (B) to the junction box using screws (C)
(size: #8-32N*L0.5). The side of the mounting plate marked GND must
face out. - Place woodscrews (E) through mounting plate (B) and into
drywall anchors (D) to secure mounting plate (B) to ceiling. - Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure
that all wire connectors are secured. If the junction box has a
ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground
wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly
to the mounting plate (B) using the green screw provided. - Place canopy (M) over mounting plate (B) and secure with screws
(F). - Install three medium base bulbs (I) up to 60 watts each or CFL
or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture
specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!. - Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
Note: The illustration in Fig. 1 is for installation purposes
only. It may or may not be identical to the fixture purchased. The
fixture should be installed by a qualified electrician to ensure
proper wiring and installation.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
9. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making
sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction
box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the
fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s
ground wire directly to the mounting plate (B) using the

green screw provided.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
10. Place canopy (M) over mounting plate (B) and secure
with screws (F).
11.Install (3) three medium base bulbs (I) up to 60 watts each
or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with
the fixture specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE
MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA
PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
junction box and test the fixture.
