Venetian Blind Zigbee Motor User Manual

01 Product Info

The Venetian Blind Zigbee Motor is a motorized device that can
be used to control the opening and closing of Venetian blinds. It
comes with a module connection wire for installation and requires a
DC12V/2A adapter for power. The motor has a torque of 0.8N.m and a
speed of 30Rpm. It also comes with an external Zigbee module for
easy integration with a smart home system.

02 Installation

To install the Venetian Blind Zigbee Motor, follow these
steps:

Connect the module connection wire to the motor.
Connect the DC12V/2A adapter to the power supply.
Insert the Zigbee module to the motor module connection
wire.

03 Power Options

The Venetian Blind Zigbee Motor requires a DC12V/2A adapter for
power.

04 Caution!

Do not use an adapter with a power output of less than 12V/1A or
a power box with a power output of less than 12V/1A. The motor
comes with a JCV 24 S AE D 08 30 Z AC Motor 24:25mm S:Standard

05 Instructions

To use the Venetian Blind Zigbee Motor, follow these
instructions:

Pairing Motor with Controller:
- After the motor is powered on for more than 10s, pairing can be
  done.
- Note: Pairing cannot be done under group channel or 0
  channel.
Direction Reverse:
- Press and hold the Pairing button for 6s, jog twice to show
  that the motor RF control is inactive.
- Press and hold the Pairing button for 2s to activate the RF
  control again.
Upper & Lower Limits Setting:

Set the upper and lower limits of the motor.
Note: The favorite position setting can only be done after the
upper and lower limits are set.

One-touch/Constant-touch Mode:

Select one-touch or constant-touch mode.

Setting and Cancelling Favorite Position:

Set or cancel the favorite position.

Hot key to the Fav. Position:

Use a hot key to go to the favorite position.

Adjusting Upper & Lower Limits:

Adjust the upper and lower limits of the motor.

Adjusting Motor Speed:

Adjust the speed of the motor.
Note: If the motor doesn’t jog, the max/min speed has already
been reached. There are 3 speeds adjustable.

Removing Controllers:

To remove a single controller, use a pre-existing controller A
to remove controller B.
Note: All settings are saved even when controllers are removed
(limits set are saved). Controller A/B are already paired to the
motor.

Cancelling Limits:

Cancel the limits.
Note: It is forbidden to run the motor if it is installed into
the shade without limits. Limits should be set immediately to
protect the shade.

06 Installation & Connecting to external Zigbee module
network

To connect the Venetian Blind Zigbee Motor to an external Zigbee
module network, follow these steps:

Download the Smart Life APP.
Add the Tuya Zigbee gateway device to the Smart Life APP.
Make sure your phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Insert the Zigbee module to the motor module connection
wire.

07 Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues with the Venetian Blind Zigbee
Motor, try adding a controller or poking the pairing button twice
to activate the motor.
