The TALO Linear Fixture is a versatile lighting solution
suitable for various applications such as office, retail,
hospitality, education, laboratory, residential, and
transportation. It comes with a 5-year warranty and is compliant
with industry standards.
Methods & Installations
The fixture can be installed using different methods:
- Plastic T-BAR-Clip: Use the PLC-01 standard 1(15/16) grid clips
for installation on a T-bar ceiling. - Hidden Stainless Steel Mount: Mount the fixture using the
SST-02 stainless steel clip. - Adhesive Mount: Use VHB Tape (sold separately) or silicone
adhesive (sold separately) for installation on various surfaces
like walls, ceilings, and concrete walls. - Additional Mounting: Optional mounting accessories like
Q-ANGLE, Q-PIVOT, and HINGE BRACKET (sold separately) can be used
for customized installations.
Components & Hardware
The TALO Linear Fixture includes the following components:
- HIDDEN STAINLESS STEEL CLIP (SST-02): Used for mounting the
fixture. - PLASTIC T-BAR CLIP (PLC-01): Used for T-bar ceiling
installations. - HINGE BRACKET (HMB-M/HMB-L/HMB-XL): Optional mounting brackets
for customized installations.
Wiring Options
The fixture supports continuous wiring configuration options.
Review the wire methods provided in the manual to ensure a clean
installation. Additional wire methods include S1 & S2
(Connector/Wire Input only) and P1 & P2 (Connector/Wire Input
and Output).
Mounting
The TALO Linear Fixture can be surface-mounted using the
following steps:
- Prepare the surface by cleaning it with a 50/50 alcohol mix and
allowing it to dry. - Peel back the protective film of the VHB tape and firmly adhere
it to the desired surface, avoiding air bubbles. Install the tape
in small sections until the entire length is installed. - For porous materials like wood, brick, and concrete, apply two
layers of paint or primer to create a better bonding surface.

Temperature and environmental concerns:
· Ideal application environment is 70-100ºF in 50% humidity or less.
· Minimum application temperature: 50ºF
· This temperature and humidity should be maintained for 72 hours after application for maximum bond strength.

a. Using a 50/50 alcohol mix, thoroughly clean the backside of the fixture and the surface area where fixture will be installed. Allow 5 minutes to dry.
b. Peel back 0.5″ of the VHB tape’s protective film on one end and use firm pressure to adhere it to the desired surface, avoiding air bubbles. Continue peeling the film and adhering the tape in small sections until the entire length is installed.

a. To adhere the VHB adhesive, peel the white film back while evenly applying the tape to the mounting side of the fixture. The red side should be visible.
