Ground Mount Kits

The Ground Mount Kits are a low-cost rail-based PV module
mounting system that provides easy installation, simple wire
management, great strength, and economical shipping structure. The
PV cables and wiring for module-level electronics fit inside rails
to avoid time-consuming wire management. All components meet the UL
standards and have a Class A Fire Rating for Type 1 and 2 modules.
Pre-stamped engineering letters are available for most states.

Tamarack Ground Mount Kit Sizing

Kits are available for systems with either 3 or 4 modules per
column. Use a First Column Kit and up to 7 Add-On Kits. Find the
wind speed and snow load required for your location and tilt angle.
Green or yellow boxes on the chart note compatibility with 60 cell
or 72 cell modules. Orange squares note compatibility with 60 cell
modules only. Red boxes require custom mount design. Yellow and
orange boxes require North/South cross braces. Order one Cross
Brace Tee per vertical post.

The sizing chart is based on Exposure Category B, which includes
urban and suburban or wooded areas. Obstructions the size of
single-family dwellings must surround the mount location within 1/2
mile in all directions. For flat, open country or hurricane-prone
regions, please contact us before purchasing.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Determine the number of modules per column and choose the
   appropriate kit type.
2. Use a First Column Kit and up to 7 Add-On Kits to install the
   mounting system.
3. Find the wind speed and snow load required for your location
   and tilt angle.
4. Refer to the sizing chart to determine compatibility with your
   module type and whether cross bracing is required.
5. If cross bracing is required, order one Cross Brace Tee per
   vertical post.
6. Install the rails, Tee-Fittings, Splices, Pipe Mounts, Clamps,
   End Caps, Module Lead Clips, and Ground Clamp according to the
   instructions provided in the kit.
