WLP-100 Wireless Power Transfer

Product Information: Wireless Power Transfer WLP-100

The WLP-100 is a device that uses advanced inductive coupling
technology to transfer power wirelessly across the door gap to
power electrified locks. It eliminates the need to core drill the
door and worry about broken wires. The device can transfer lock
status monitoring and field selectable 12/24 VDC output. It can be
used with fail-secure electrified locks/latches and provides up to
30 seconds of sustained power for intermittent duty. The device has
a flexible mounting position and an infrared signal light. It is
suitable for both wood and metal doors, and it comes with extension
mounting tabs included for metal door installation.

Warranty:

The product is warranted against defects in material and
workmanship while used in normal service for a period of 1 year
from the date of sale to the original client. The GEM policy is one
of continual development and improvement; therefore GEM reserves
the right to change specifications without notice.

Product Usage Instructions:

The WLP-100 adopts inductive coupling through advanced infrared
technology to transfer power wirelessly across the door gap to
power electrified locks. Follow the below instructions to install
and use the WLP-100:

  1. Identify the door and frame sides of the WLP-100.
  2. Mount the transmitter on the frame side and the receiver on the
    door side. Make sure that the infrared signal light is visible on
    both sides.
  3. Connect the input power (frame side) to the PSM-29T power
    supply module and connect the output power (door side) to the
    electrified lock/latch.
  4. Select the appropriate output power (12VDC@800mAd24VDC@400mA)
    based on your lock/latch requirements.
  5. Adjust the device to fit the door gap. The maximum door gap is
    3/16(4~5mm).
  6. Test the device by locking and unlocking the electrified
    lock/latch. The device transfers lock status monitoring.

Note: The WLP-100 can be used with fail-secure electrified
locks/latches and provides up to 30 seconds of sustained power for
intermittent duty.
