The Part PJDI216: D40MZ3000 – 40 GPM Injection Seal Kit contains
the following items:
- (1) PJDI215 Check valve assembly
- (1) JDI100 Injection sleeve o-ring
- (1) JDI200 Plunger seal
- (1) 20J006 Upper injection stem insert o-ring
- (1) JDI120 Injection stem o-ring
The product is recommended to be cleaned with warm soapy water
and a toothbrush before installing the new parts. Water normally
lubricates the parts, but you may use silicone on the o-rings to
facilitate insertion. The parts may contain STOP concentrated
chemicals, so the use of proper protective equipment is recommended
when performing maintenance.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Unscrew hose nut (P150) and remove the hose. Unscrew injection
stem assembly nut (PDI702) and pull down on the stem to detach it
from the body of the unit. - Unscrew check valve nut (8P168) and pull out check valve
assembly (PJDI215). Be sure to remove the barb and check valve and
discard. - Unscrew locking nut (8P197U), remove C clamp (PDI727) by
slightly spreading the opening and gently sliding it down over the
threads. Unscrew adjusting nut (PPDI068). Holding the sleeve
(PDI1245), push up on the threaded part of the white injection stem
(PDI1241U) and slide it out of the sleeve from the top. Replace the
injection sleeve o-ring (JDI100). - From the injection stem (PDI1241U), unscrew the upper insert
(PDI1240U). Flip the stem (PDI1241U) upside down so the upper
insert o-ring (20J006) comes off, discard and replace. Remove and
replace the injection stem o-ring (JDI120) as well. Screw the upper
insert back on. - Slide the injection stem (PDI1241U) down into the sleeve
(PDI1245), making sure the small key inside the sleeve is aligned
with the longest groove on the white stem. Holding the graduated
sleeve, pull down on the white stem as far as it will go. Thread
the adjusting nut (PPDI068) back onto the sleeve (PDI1245).
Reinstall C clamp (PDI727) by gently sliding it over the threads at
the bottom of the white stem. Rotate clamp until it clicks into
place. Screw locking nut (8P197U) back on. To remove o-ring easily
without tools, squeeze it on either side to raise the seal, then
slide it over the groove. - Insert the new check valve (PJDI215) at the bottom of the white
stem, making sure that the 4 white keys on the check valve seat
next to the 4 keys on the bottom of the stem. Screw check valve nut
(8P168) back on. - Set the stem aside and pick up the blue body. Remove and
replace the plunger seal (JDI200), by pinching it and rolling out
of the plunger or using a small flat blade screwdriver. Be careful
not to damage the tip of the plunger. - Carefully push the complete injection stem assembly in position
at the bottom of the blue body, making sure desired scale is facing
front of injector. Use a vertical motion to avoid bending the
plunger. Keys at the top of the graduated sleeve should slide into
the slots at the bottom of the body. Slide injection stem assembly
nut (PDI702) up the sleeve and screw back on. Insert hose back onto
the bottom of the check valve barb and screw hose nut (P150) back
on.

Instructions
(Parts included in kit noted in blue)
1. Unscrew hose nut (P150) and remove hose. Unscrew injection stem assembly nut (PDI702) and pull down on stem to detach from body of unit.

2. Unscrew check valve nut (8P168) and pull out check valve assembly (PJDI215). It may come out in one or two pieces. Be sure to remove the barb and check valve and discard.

3. Unscrew locking nut (8P197U), remove “C” clamp (PDI727) by slightly spreading the opening and gently sliding it down over the threads. Unscrew adjusting nut (PPDI068). Holding the sleeve (PDI1245), push up on the threaded part of the white injection stem (PDI1241U) and slide it out of the sleeve from the top. Replace the injection sleeve o-ring (JDI100).

4. From the injection stem (PDI1241U),
unscrew the upper insert (PDI1240U).
Flip the stem (PDI1241U)
upside down so the upper insert o-ring

the upper insert back on.
5. Slide the injection stem (PDI1241U) down into the sleeve (PDI1245), making sure the small key inside the sleeve is aligned with the longest groove on the white stem. Holding the graduated sleeve, pull down on the white stem as far as it will go. Thread the adjusting nut (PPDI068) back onto the sleeve (PDI1245).

To ensure hose is air-tight, you may choose to carefully cut the top of hose before reinserting.

4. De la barra de inyección
(PDI1241U), desatornille el inserte superior

6. Inserte la nueva válvula cheque
(PJDI215) en la parte inferior de la
barra blanca, asegurándose que las
4 marcas en la
válvula cheque
coincidan con las
4 marcas en la
parte inferior de
la barra. Atornille
de nuevo la tuerca
de la válvula cheque (8P168).

7. Coloque el vástago a un lado, y sujete el cuerpo azul. Remueva el Empaque/Sello del Émbolo apretándolo y deslizándolo fuera del émbolo. Instale el nuevo empaque/ sello del émbolo (JDI200) en la ranura del émbolo.

1. Desatornille la tuerca de la manguera (P150). Desatornille la tuerca del montaje de inyección (PDI702) y jale el montaje hasta separarlo de la unidad.

2. Desatornille la tuerca de la válvula cheque (8P168) y remueva la válvula cheque (PJDI215). Puede salir en una o dos piezas. Asegúrese de sacar desechar ambas partes.

5. Inserte la barra de inyección (PDI1241U) por la parte superior de la manga (PDI1245), la marca dentro de la manga debe estar alineada con la ranura larga en la barra blanca. Empuje la barra dentro de la manga hasta el fondo. Atornille la tuerca de ajuste (PPDI068) a la manga (PDI1245). Reinstale el anillo en forma de “C” (PDI727). Gírelo hasta que encaje en posición. Atornille la PDI1241U tuerca de seguridad (8P197U).

Para remover fácilmente el anillo sin uso de herramientas, solo oprímalo en ambos lados y este levantara una parte para ser extraído.

8. Sujete el montaje de inyección a la unidad, empújelo completamente hasta que esté en posición. Asegúrese que la escala deseada se encuentre en la parte frontal del inyector. Las marcas en la parte superior de la manga negra deben encajar en los espacios en la parte inferior del cuerpo de la unidad. Atornille la tuerca (PDI702). Inserte la manguera en la parte inferior al final de la lengüeta y atornille la tuerca de la manguera (P150).
Para asegurarse que haya una succión adecuada, usted puede cortar con cuidado la punta de la manguera en línea recta.
