Battery Installation
App Connection
First, you need to have a Zigbee 3.0 gateway and add it to the Tuya Smart APP (see the gateway manual for the method of adding a gateway to the App)
- Install battery (purchase separately)
- Long press “SET” button about 5 seconds until indicator flashes quickly.
- Open “Tuya Smart” APP, click connected Zigbee Gateway.
- Click “Add subdevice”
- Click “ Indicator is flashing quickly”
- Searching device and added successfully

Installation Direction
- Location: install it in the area where people usually cross over and distance must be 2m over the ground. As shown below.
- Stay away from air conditioner, fridge,oven..etc which is easy to affect temperature, don’t display it under sunshine directly.
- Remove sticker on the back base, fix base holder on suitable position.
Attention
- Indicator flashes one time and send signal once sensor activates motion detection when nobody crossed. Indicator not light up if sensor detect motion continuously.
Remove battery if don’t often use it, save it in dry and static-free condition. - Don’t use it near metal or strong hertz area, it will affect communication distace.
