Care and maintenance
- Our steel components or garden accessories and patio items are coated with a paint rustproof which protects them from rusting, However, due to the nature of steel, surface rusting may occur when these protective layers are scratched. This is a natural process and is not a default!
- To reduce this problem, we recommend taking great care while assembling and handle the product to avoid scratching the paint. If it causes a scratch or damage, we recommend touching up immediately with rust preventative paint.
- Surface rust can also be easily removed with the light application of cooking oil. If surface rusting occurs and you do not take steps to prevent it, rust may begin to drip onto your deck or patio and cause harmful stains, which will be very difficult to erase. This can be avoided if you take the necessary steps to prevent the product rusts.
- Use a damp cloth to wipe off stains as quickly as possible.
- While not in use, clean up any dirt and loose objects, wash with mild solution soap and water, rinse and dry completely.
- Check all bolts to make sure they are tight before and during use.
Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty
Sunjoy Group warrants to the original purchaser that this item is free from defects in workmanship or materials. for a period of twelve (6) months from the date of purchase, provided the item was closed by the manufacturer at the time of purchase and that it has been carefully maintained and used for personal and residential use uniquely. If a manufacturing defect occurs within the warranty period, Sunjoy Industries will repair or replace (at your option) any defective merchandise by showing an expected purchase; however, the fees transport and delivery, as well as payments to other persons for the assembly or dismantling of the product, will be the buyer’s responsibility. A buyer of an “open box”, previously returned, or “clearance” item, as long as the original purchasers outside the warranty period, can obtain Sunjoy Group replacement parts for products that are currently under production, at a price affordable.
Exclusions
Items that have been used for commercial, contract, or other non-residential purposes, or items damaged by weather, vandalism, misuse, or improper assembly are not Covered. Hardware corrosion or rust is not covered. Proof of purchase (dated receipt) will be required for any warranty claim. This warranty is for the original purchaser only and is not transferable. All replacements of items under warranty will be of the original style and color, or a similar style or color if the original is not available or has been discontinued. Since some States do not allow the exclusions or limitations of an implied warranty, the exclusions and above limitation may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
