Product Usage Instructions

To use the ED9616H5NV-16P-A HD PoE NVR, follow these
instructions:

1. Connect up to 16 IPC cameras to the network input ports of the
   NVR.
2. Make sure the network bandwidth is within the specified limits
   (160Mbps for access and transfer).
3. Configure the network access format for the cameras (choose
   from 8MP, 5MP, 4MP, 3MP, 1080P, 960P, or 720P at 25/30fps).
4. Connect the audio input from the cameras to the NVR’s audio
   input port.
5. Enable dual stream recording for simultaneous recording of both
   streams.
6. Select the desired record resolution (choose from 8MP, 5MP,
   4MP, 3MP, 1080P, 960P, or 720P).
7. Choose the playback mode (manual, timer, motion, or sensor) and
   specify the maximum number of channels for playback (up to 16
   channels).
8. Use the playback search function to search for recorded videos
   based on time slice, time, event, or tag.
9. Configure the alarm inputs (up to 8 local alarm inputs and
   support for 8 IPC alarm inputs).
10. Specify the actions to be triggered by alarms (record, snap,
    preset, e-mail, etc.).
11. Utilize the face picture database with support for up to 16
    libraries and a total of 10,000 face pictures. Face picture search
    and management functions are available.
12. Connect the NVR to the network using the PoE port.
13. Access the NVR’s web client using the provided operating
    system.
14. Backup recorded videos using the backup port.
