PL7100 Smart Phone Lock
Product Information: The product being referred to
in the user manual is the CAL-ROYAL PL7100. It is a lever handle
for doors, designed to be reversible in terms of handing. The lever
removal tool is used to reverse the handing of the lever.
Product Usage Instructions: To reverse the handing
of the CAL-ROYAL PL7100 lever, follow these steps: 1. Reversing the
Outside Lever: a. Locate the hole on the side of the outside lever.
b. Insert the long end of the lever removal tool into the hole. c.
While depressing the tool, turn the key clockwise and pull the
lever off. 2. Fit the Outside Lever: a. Determine the desired
handing position for the lever. b. Fit the lever into the desired
position. c. Turn the key clockwise and push the lever on fully
until a positive engagement ‘click’ is felt. d. Ensure that the
outside lever is securely engaged. 3. Reversing the Inside Lever:
a. Locate the hole on the side of the inside lever. b. Insert the
long end of the lever removal tool into the hole and pull off the
lever. 4. Fit the Inside Lever: a. Determine the desired handing
position for the lever. b. Fit the lever into the desired position.
c. Push the inside lever on fully until a positive engagement
‘click’ is felt. d. Make sure that the inside lever is securely
engaged with the spindle. Please refer to drawing number ELG8019,
dated 221019, for further clarification.
HOW TO REVERSE THE HANDING OF CAL-ROYAL PL7100
1. Insert the long end of the lever removal tool in the hole on the side of the outside lever(see illustration below). While depressing the tool, turn key clockwise and pull lever off.
2. Turn rose and chassis 180° for opposite hand of door.
3. Fit lever to desired handing position at go0
4. Turn key clockwise and push lever on fully until positive engagement ‘click’ is felt
5. Make sure outside lever is securely
OUTSIDE LEVER
1. Insert the long end of the lever removal tool in the hole on the side of the inside lever (see illustration below), and pull off lever.
2. Turn rose and chassis 180° opposite hand of door
3. Fit lever to desired handing position at go0
4. Push inside lever on fully until positive
engagement ‘click’ is felt. 5. Make sure inside lever is securely engaged
with the spindle.
