W5 – 3535 Compact Optics 2×2
Product Information:
The Compact Optics 2×2 for SMD W5 is a lighting accessory
designed to provide uniform and glare-free light. It is compatible
with ZHAGA-compliant light engines, ensuring compatibility with a
wide range of lighting fixtures. The optics are available in
various types, each offering different efficiency levels. The
product is lightweight and comes in a packaging unit of 560
units.
The product also includes a shade for additional glare control.
The shade can be mounted in any direction and is available in black
color.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Ensure that the light engine or fixture is ZHAGA-compliant and
compatible with the Compact Optics 2×2. - Remove any front glass present on the light engine or fixture
before installing the optics. - Select the desired type of optics based on the required
efficiency level. - Carefully place the optics on top of the light engine, ensuring
proper alignment. - If additional glare control is desired, mount the shade
provided in any direction. - Tighten the optics using a torque wrench with a torque value of
0.5 Nm. - Verify that the optics and shade are securely mounted.
- Connect the power supply to the light engine or fixture and
test the lighting performance.

The optics made of high-quality optical material are designed for installation in luminaires with a glass cover and can be used for many street lighting applications. For the typical lighting situations of the street a uniform and at the same time glare-free light with low color deviations is possible. The optics are optimized for high power LEDs with a footprint 3535. Typical 3535 LED types for use with these optics are Nichia NVSx219; Osram Oslon square; Samsung LH351; Seoul Z5M ; Cree XPx, Luxeon Rebel. But also LEDs with a footprint 5050 like the Seoul 5050, Samsung LH502C/508C or Lumileds Luxeon 5050 find place under the optics.
