Product Information: Luggage Rack Spacers
The Luggage Rack Spacers are a product designed and manufactured
by Ciro. These spacers are intended to be used with Harley-Davidson
(H-D) Tour Pack Lids and Luggage Racks to provide additional
clearance for mounting bags and other accessories on the luggage
rack.
The package includes four Luggage Rack Spacers, four SS Flat
Washers, four SHCS 1/4-20 x 1 1/2 Screws, and eight Black
Washers.
It is important to note that Ciro is not responsible for
improper loads or unsafe positioning of the Luggage Rack Spacers.
It is the user’s responsibility to determine the safe weight limit
based on the position of the load, proper securing of the load, and
the weight limits given for the motorcycle by its manufacturer.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Park your motorcycle on a level surface and allow it to
cool. - Open the H-D Tour Pack lid.
- Loosen all four screws holding the luggage rack onto the Tour
Pack lid. Do not remove the screws. - Remove the two screws and all washers and spacers from one side
of the luggage rack. - Insert one Luggage Rack Spacer and one Black Washer under the
two luggage rack legs. - Stack one SS Washer and one Black Washer onto the included
screws. - Thread the screws onto the luggage rack legs.
- Repeat steps 4-7 on the other side of the luggage rack.
- Tighten all four screws. Be careful not to over-tighten
them. - Ensure the bag is fastened and straps are secure before riding
the motorcycle to prevent potential serious injury.
It is recommended that a competent mechanic install the Luggage
Rack Spacers using standard mechanical procedures to ensure a safe
and successful installation. Make sure to read and understand the

It is the users responsibility to determine what the safe limit is based on the position of the load, proper securing of the load and the weight limits given for the motorcycle by its manufacturer.

Adhere to the vehicle manufacturer’s GAWR and GVWR (gross axle weight rating and gross vehicle weight rating). Instructions: 1. Park on a level surface, allow the vehicle to cool. 2. Open the Tour Pack lid. Loosen all 4 screws holding the luggage
rack onto the Tour Pack lid. Do not remove the screws. 3. Remove the 2 screws and all washers and spacers from one side
of the luggage rack. 4. Insert the luggage rack spacer and one black washer under the 2
luggage rack legs. 5. Stack 1 SS washer and 1 black washer onto the included screws. 6. Thread the screws onto the luggage rack legs. 7. Repeat step 4-7 on the other side of the luggage rack. 8. Tighten all 4 screws.
